The setting of the restaurant is very nice, waiters speak both English and Spanish. I agree with one of the reviews, the taste is adjusted to the local taste. To me Indian food is not all about being spicy, but it is more about the...More
There is nowhere in Buenos Aires or Argentina for that matter where you can eat an authentic Indian meal like you can at Tandoor. The service is exquisite and they are always willing to spice something up or down according to your tastes. This is...More
After 2 weeks in Buenos Aires- decided to try an Indian restaurant on our second last night. Pleasantly suprised by the food. Exceptional quality with some interesting and different dishes. Adequately spiced for the non South American palate (ask for hot and you get hot)....More

There are not a lot of Indian resturants, let alone nicer ones, in Buenos Aires, but this was quite good. Although not great Indian food, if you need an Indian food fix, this is probably the place to go.
We had been travelling for several months in South America and although the steak in Argentina is great, we both needed a meal with spice! There is no substitute for a well prepared curry.

Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll
also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
