I live close by and I wish I can eat here couple times a week, but it is a bit on the pricier side for me. But the curries are yum. I would recommend going for lunch to get the set menu, definitely worth it! Nice atmosphere.

We had a nice dinner. It got very busy after 9 PM so if you plane to have dinner late it is better to make a reservation. Food was full of taste and spice. The menu is quite short as for the Indian restaurant but serves good dishes. It is not cheap but is also not expensive. Worth trying when... More

I visited the restaurant at lunch time. They had several executive lunch menus, but I opted for Langostinos Tikka from the menu. I asked for Garlic Naan and the waiter kindly explained that the dish already comes with a Naan entrance and butter naan with the dish. Since I like spicy I asked for extra hot. The dish came and... Second time visiting this restaurant. Cozy ambient and intimate feel. Attentive service, always eager to help and suggest options. Dishes from the tandoor and curries are adapted to Argentinian milder, non spicy standards. They were all Ok but lacked of intensity. Good wine selection and few dessert options. Very good restaurant but not a solid reference of authentic Indian cuisine.

If you link Indian food you won't be disappointed. But if you love it as me, you will have a blast. The environmental is beautiful and the atmosphere is romantic. We tried a lot of things and everything was an explosion of flavors. Love love love this place. Wish I had one in my neighborhood

I went to Tandoor with my family on a Monday. I think Monday is the only day they have the menu ejecutivo. We ordered two appetizers and they were good. But the Tikka Masala was perfect! I am a huge fan of Tikka Masala and the one at Tandoor is the best one I've tried here in BA. Recommended!

After eating bland food for a week or so, we were dying for spicy indian food. Tandoor foot the bill and then some! The food was delicious. The service is a little slow. The staff was awesome and the restaurant was quite clean.

Ok, so, Indian cuisine is not going to be very plentiful in Buenos Aires. So, suggesting Tandoor is one of, if not the best Indian restaurant in Buenos Aires may not be saying much. It’s more than that. It is one of the best restaurants in all of Buenos Aires. Yes, steak is king in BA. And empanadas a close... More

This is the most delicious Indian restaurant I have been to in years. Everything is on point: from the sauces (perfectly spiced) to the Naan to every dish. They use ingredients of optimal quality (the chicken is sooo tender). Plus they innovate in their menu. Everything is spotless. Loved it so much me and my husband came back twice in... More

The déco is simple. If you go at night it does the trick (not during daylight hours, though). Food is good but not superb. The variety of dishes is not plentiful but sufficient. If you had Indian food in London, NY or Bombay keep walking. But in case you're an Argentine tired of eating beef cuts at local parrillas this... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
