We went here with no reservation and we only had to wait about 10minutes. It is crowded but it doesn't feel like it which is great. The pizza was amazing and the shots also! It was not expensive at all so i definetly recommend you to go have dinner!!

Found this place on TripAdvisor as was just around the corner from our hotel. So glad we went!! Was a Saturday night, DJ was playing, and as we were early we were able to get a table straight away. It was handy having an menu in English and the waitress also spoke really good English (hard to find). I had... More

If you're looking for a typical Argentine experience, i.e. snotty, arrogant, high-maintenance waiters who think they're doing you a favour by deigning to take your order, then this is the place for you. The pizza is actually pretty good (if you like thin crust), but the noise and bad attitude spoils it.

This place has one of my favorite pizzas in Buenos Aires. Thin and crusty, pizzas are tasty and offered in a great variety of flavors. Service is fast and friendly. A dj is usually performing but still, you are able to talk and listen. Best thing: the complimentary drink you get when you ask for the check! Favorite pizza flavor:... More

This restaurant is bigger than it looks! I met a friend here for dinner. We had friendly, attentive service and he offered excellent recommendations for food and wine. The place has a modern, comfortable decor and good food at a reasonable prices.

Buenos Aires is certainly known for its pizza and this restaurant well deserves its high rating. I ordered the larger pizza for myself but it is really almost enough for 2 people !

This place is a great choice when looking for good Italian food in the Recoleta area. Fun and lively atmosphere with a nice patio for outdoor seating. I've been 3 times and each time the service has been great, the food arrives quick and we always enjoy ourselves. In addition, I always hear at least one waiter speaking English to... More

We had a fabulous time eating and drinking our way in BA. Towards the end of our trip, we needed a casual setting that served simple meals ( that weren't beef related), and we were recommended to go to Piola. The pizza was thin crust, the salads full of vegetables, and the beer ice cold! Just perfect! The service was... More

Great ambiance in this place. Staff were very friendly and at least one spoke English when our questions couldn't be understood. Pizzas great and adding a salad made it a wholesome meal. A complimentary lemon sorbet style drink finished the meal off nicely. Reasonable prices - would recommend.

We were looking for somewhere casual to go in Buenos Aires and chose Pizza Pialo, which proved to be the perfect pick. Staff was very friendly, pizza was very good. Bar drinks we had weren't great, but the bottle of wine after definitely was. As well the appetizers were ok, but the bread they offered ahead was definitely the best... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
