After four days in BsAs I’ve got a suggestion to try La Chalita. Unfortunately my worst choice in many years. First: they do not accept credit card. Moreover, the place is noisy and, most of all, the parrilla was terrible, not just my assado de...tira but also my daughter’s bife de lomo. No taste and very hard to eat. Besides that, you can’t change the guarnicion and the house wine ... (was that a wine?). Don’t waste your time and money (not cheap) there...More

We had a great lunch, it was so good we went back 6 hours later for dinner. The restaurant is just far enough from Recoleta to feel local and be significantly better value, 10 min walk. We had a light lunch of salad, they were...massive and beautifully fresh. We share a platter of steak with side, perfectly cooked and amazing value. Highly recommend.More

We had a couple of GREAT steaks just prior to leaving for the airport, at about 2.30pm. The place was packed but we managed to get a couple of seats, and quickly ordered the Bife de Lomo and Bife de Chorizo and a couple of...cervezas. The wait for the two steaks was ok - not too long, and not too short to make me concerned about their cooking ;). And they were excellent!! Really good way to finish off our 2-weeks in BA. And there was no issue with our VERY limited Spanish, and their lack of an English menu!! Highly recommended.More

Restaurant in Recoleta district, easy access, cozy location, the main dish was fantastic as well as the pint! Pay attention cause they do not accept credit cards, cash only.

We went there quite early in the evening. Only a few tables were occupied, some Argentinian guests were already eating, so the kitchen was not too busy. We had to wait 50 Minutes until our bbqed meat arrived. Quality and quality were okay. But come...on, nowhere else did we have to wait so long and they only take cash. Would not recommend, there are plenty of other options to get a good assado in Buenos Aires.More

Love the food! Steaks are amazing! The cream of spinach is the best Around ! There are several options for non beef eaters as well !! Every time I come to Argentina I have to make a stop at La Cholita and I recommend it...to everyone visiting Buenos Aires . Very nice ambience and all this for an amazing low price !!! This last time that I ate there .. there was 6 of us and it was less the $90 US dollars . Can’t beat the price or the quality of the food !More

It’s 2019 and these people still do not accept credit card... never going back again! A table for 2 and you get one bread... a table for 4 and you still get one bread...

I like this restaurant as it serves typical Argentinian meat, as well as other dishes in their menu. Even Veg customers will find something for their taste here. Dishes are generous in size, even to be shared. Most meat dishes come with two sides, usually...fries and rice. Prices are convenient, especially if you share. The atmosphere is nice, although be prepared to take home some barbecue smell even on your hair. Toilets are in need of refurbishment.More

We were recommended this place by the hotel we were staying at and I can now recommend it too. I had a steak dish, whilst my girlfriend had a trio of meats dish, both of which were delicious with plenty of tasty additions... a proper...feast. We also had a bottle of house wine which was great with the meat. Very reasonably priced and the crayons to draw on the table cloth were a cool touch. Would love to go back one day.More
