When thinking of a good place to taste argentine meat, have been to them all... being an Argentinian I am not easy to please when it comes to beef... but Don Julio does it and is simply the best. Cooked to perfection, the best selection of grass fed free range cattle is a gem in the crowded Buenos Aires offer... More

Don Julio's a renowned restaurant in the area so booking ahead is essential. The queues outside never went down in all the time we were there, with lots of eager guests turning up throughout the night. The restaurant provide samples as you wait if you don't have a reservation. Fortunately we did. It's easy to see why it's so popular.... More

A wonderful evening can be had here. Incredible tender and flavorful steaks, delicious sides and a wine list to please all tastes and wallets. The service was impeccable ... attentive and unobtrusive. Easy to understand why this is a longstanding favorite of locals and yes, us tourists.

Travelling with friends we went to have lunch on a sunday afternoon. This place is a great choice for that time and overall it was a very nice expirience. Truly argentinean parrilla, has great meat and great starters. Good wine list and the service is really friendly and relaxed as well as the place. The location is also great for... More

I had to be in Buenos Aires over the weekend for business and decided to stay at the Duque Hotel just a short distance away on the same street. As I was alone I told the hostess she has free permission to give me the worst table in the house and I have to say in deferential my suggestion she... More

We didn't make a reservation and thus had to wait a good 45 mins. While waiting, we were served a small bowl of soup and a glass of sparkling wine. When we got a table, our waiter was very helpful in recommending food and the wine to go with it. The restaurant is a bit pricey and quite touristy but... More

Meats were excessively fatty and food was way overpriced. Located in Palermo a neighborhood full of tourist attractions. Typical ambiance and decor but ultimately food and cost can be found elsewhere for better.

We arrived into BA on a rainy Monday and booked dinner here for our first night. it was our first experience of an Argentinian Parilla and we weren't disappointed. the service was amazing and so were the steaks ! We absolutely loved our evening there.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
