Many people list this as one of the best parrillas in BA. While it was good, I hope there is something better (though we didn't find it). This is situated in the center of Palermo - a happening place. There are nice restaurants on all four corners here. We were a group of seven and though normally we needed reservations,... More

We have been twice 6 years apart. Both times the beef was excellent. The first time the Four Seasons concierge made the reservation and we received excellent service, wine advice, etc. The atmosphere was local and fun. The second time last month left us with a very different impression--still pretty good steak, but perfunctory, brusque service, not great wine advice,... More

Being a vegetarian in a meat loving country such as Argentina can be some what challenging... this time I gave in to my friend to visit this highly recommended meat restaurant. As we did not have a reservation, we were told to wait 20min outside. The staff was so attentive and brought as a free Cava on the house and... More

If you want to try some typical Argentinian BBQ, you must absolutly try this restaurant. The meat is juicy, tasty and very tender, wonderful sauce on the sides. I also recommend for a starter to share: Provolone with eggplant (super tasty). The sabayon and kumquat icecream are also great. Enjoy!! Super service as well

Decent service, knowledgeable staff, very nice wine list and the entrecote is just the best, most tender and perfectly cooked steak I've had here.

My husband and I went to Don Julio on a Monday night. We waited for 45 minutes because we didn't make a reservation and we wanted to sit inside. We ordered the ribeye and split it, (it was suggested from the locals who recommended this restaurant to split the big steak. And he was right.) The trouble wasn't with the... More

Beautifully cooked steak. Roasted vegetables. Queues outside if you don't have a reservation. Service ok, couple next to us waited about an hour for their food to arrive. Attentive and well informed sommelier. Full of tourists, not sure many locals come here. Not sure quite how this gets into lists of say best 50 restaurants in Latin America but you... More

We were recommended this restaurant and ate here late one night having waited a while to get in. Service was good and and the menu and wine list good, however, my steak was definitely not the best we had in BA, although my wife loved hers.

Been here about 6 times in the last year. Still the best steaks and atmosphere in B's A's. Get there early if you want a seat. The Bife De Lomo will melt in your mouth.

The wait is long but staff passes prosecco and sausage nibbles while you wait. The steak was well cooked and of course local. Wine list was also good, but check carefully as it has not recently been updated and they swap vintages. A great evening and friendly place.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
