As expected servings were on the large side and the steaks were outstanding. Service was acceptable. The restaurant is quite attractive but remember, you don't eat the decor.

The steak was good (although overcooked), but in Buenos Aires, there's no shortage of good steaks. The dining space is terrible. We were first seated downstairs, it was so noisy with echo that we couldn't have a conversation without screaming. We had to move upstairs which was a bit quieter but worse as we were seated next to the restrooms,... More

Whenever you don't find place at Las Cabras you may as well come here in Cañitas. The restaurant is really big, the service is nice and portions are very generous. You get feed ahead with bread and various sauces as you wait for your meal. The place is suitable for big groups. Highly recommended.

Delicious and plenty of food for reasonable prices made in a wooden oven. Homemade lemonade, argentinian barbecue, cosy place in Palermo

Having read all the good reviews, then seen the results of all the preparation work, it is difficult to write this review. However, having translated this review, then shown it to the evening manager prior to posting, I hope this review will provide an opportunity to consider the closing recommendation. Why I wrote this review! Our evenings expectation were high.... More

Traveling in BA with our ex-pat son and one of his co-workers recommended this restaurant right by the Polo fields and in a very hip area of town. We visited on a Saturday evening. The food and atmosphere were great! We may have been the only Americans in the place. Service was excellent. The guys had Argentine beef and watched... More

I still cannot believe that you can buy a bottle of wine and a full plate of world-class asado and other incredible grilled foods for under 200 pesos (~$13, USD). Las Cholas was one of my favorite dining experiences in the city, and well within reach in regards to distance. One of our plates took a little longer than expected,... More

Excellent beef! Huge portions. You can every part of the cow and it will taste awesome. Very good prices! Only one con, is always full and noisy.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
