Tasty food (specially the pizza and pasta). Nice environment for families; kind and welcoming people. Not to be missed.

The food is great , the environment is good & it has a good music :) Few years back there was a statue of topless lady , it was part of the place , I prefer to have it back ! Now she is wearing bra and underwear :/ Need to improve the wifi , it is so slow. In... More

This place has some great Pizza for South America...I highly recommend checking them out if you are from America and used to some good slices of Pizza Pie. A cool little atmosphere to boot and you can get a few drinks and relax if you want as well. It was so good, I came back for seconds before I left... More

Good atmosphere, attentive service, quirky decor. We ate pasta with seafood, pizza & grilled vegetables. The pizza was great but neither of us liked the shellfish (we weren't sure what it was). House los cardos red wine was fine but I couldn't drink the white!

The place was crowded and a little noisy, but we survived that. The food was good, and service reasonable. You're not likely to find another restaurant with the statue like theirs.

We went to this restaurant after we enjoyed the Tango show at the Borges Cultural Cantre just up the road. We shared a couple of pizzas and a salad (and a beautiful Malbec) - and these were some of the nicest pizzas we have had even in comparison to Italy. Only gripe would be that at the end the waiter... Although most of the Buenos Aires population is of Italian descent, strangely enough most of the pizzas served are "argentinized" i.e. they are thick and tasteless ;) Filo is the only one, IMO, that serves a REAL 100% authentic Italian pizza. Plus of course Italian food of very good quality. This is a young and sporty place, informal, reasonably priced... More

Deliciouse pizza's, good wine. Service by staff was very friendly , fast & efficiënt (they work hard) Spacy restaurant , a bit too brighten by the ceiling lights, but in combination with the colourfull walls it makes also a typical kind of atmosphere.

And so is the food! Great and friendly service. The pizzas are excellent, and I've also enjoyed the salads and pastas. Very affordable pricing. My only complaint, it can get a bit noisy at times. A reservation a good idea, it does get very busy.

Italian gastronomical culture, a fun place, to see and to be seen, art space, constant innovation, indifferent people stay out, high level conversations to be forgotten next morning, music always.

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
