looks like the granmas kitchen, menu looks even more homey and then you remember that your grandmother cooked better even with flavor and taste. then the bill comes and it feels a big mistake: prices are upscale and food is not. there are other options in the neighborhood.

I was gladly surprised the first time a friend took me there (I probably would not have ventured in otherwise). I discovered excellent vegetarian food, very tasty and reasonably priced, plus very friendly service. Short menu, always good options. The only downside is that if you go late, they may have run out of some of the daily specials (which... More

I love this place, WE love this place. I used to go by myself when I was single and the place was much smaller. It is always a good experience. From the staff, to smell of nice home made food when you walk in, to the distinct personality of the place. Now is much bigger than in the past, and... More

The food was very flavoursome and the staff were very friendly, explaining each meal to us and even recommended places for us to shop at afterwards! Thanks for a great meal!

Not that great. Ordered the fried eggplant parm (decent) and a not so tasty mezze platter. Baba ganoush was good, but only a spoonful given. However, the dessert (flour-less chocolate cake) was excellent.

This was by far the best food and service we had in Buenos Aires. Nice location, waiters that actually care plus good selection and food...we enjoyed!

Palermo Hollywood is a great area for vegetarians with plenty of great options. Arevalito is a great spot, more homey feel than the rest, ideal for lunch. Get there early, its small and busy.

Very tasty food with vegetarian ingredients only. Really simple and good. Do not expect fancy service or ambience. Recommend it for a casual lunch in an outside table.

Let me start by saying that I very rarely give a place 5 stars. I am not a vegetarian, but this place was great. Very cozy and they speak English. Probably better just to drop by and grab a bite for lunch. Try some of the homemade lemonade. Also, the entrees are fairly large so you'll be very full.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
