We were travelling by bike. It's been 2 months that we are in Turkey and it's the first time I see a restaurant like that. We asked for a dürüm. The written price is 20tl. They told us that it's for 50g of chicken, the...one with 150g is at 60tl. What? Everywhere you can eat a dürüm with 200g of chicken for 20tl and here it's 3 times more expensive. Right. Let's go for 2 pides then... when they served us, the 2 pides where almost empty and mine was not what I ordered. But the guys didn't want to change... We took pictures, and when it was time to pay, we didn't want to pay 67tl for 2 breads (because we can't call that pide). We had to fight in turkish because they don't speak any other language and when we showed the pictures they agreed for 50tl. That was the most expensive bread we ate so far! Never go there.More

A standard Turkish menu of meat, salads, pide, etc., but perfectly executed and professionally served. No beer unfortunately, but not a sacrifice for this quality of food.

Anything labeled "Gaziantep" is likely to have excellent food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the menu was reasonably priced, and the food was great.

Came here twice, both times the food was delicious, and the price for that delight was fair enough! Don't get distracted by facade, inside you will find tasty dishes and complimentary plates with bread and salad.

Demre was our final stop on this leg of The Lycian Way. We stopped at the Gaziantep to ask directions to the Otogar. They were so helpful we decided to eat there later that evening. Good quality food from the Southeastern end of Turkey, lovely...service and most importantly great Kunefe which is my favourite dessert. Located at the edge St. Nicholas Square, the Gaziantep was an unexpected treat.More

If you are in Demre, go try this place! Everything was as it should be in a good restaurant: traditional (even veggie-) food, large plates, spices on request, pide, welcoming and warm service, reasonable prices, adequate staff and a good feel about the whole place....This is not fine dining or fast-food. This is simply a restaurant to celebrate the day and the Turkish cuisine. These guys deserve a thanks. Don't miss it!More

Just off the Noel Baba Medani (Father Christmas Square), in the midt of a very touristy area frequented y Russian throngs, pilgrims to the St. Nicolas church, is a gem of traditional Eastern Turkish cooking. Gaziantep is reknowned for its cuisine and this restaurant as...its name would imply carries on the tradition. Excellently done!More
