The food is very tasty, with great flavors, which is what you expect at a restaurant. Mission accomplished right away. And the staff is friendly, helpful, which helps to have a nicer experience. And the location is great, right in the center, which is perfect. Highly recommended.

Came here with fiends as drop ins as we were looking for a place to eat that would be still open at 15.00 on a Saturday and everything around seemed to be closed. Well we had a delicious fish and meat excellent house wine and various side dishes. The price is really great as well as we came out of... More

The only place in Portugal where you're at risk to fall in love with the Portuguese kitchen! The place is cosy, people are very nice and the dishes... well, you have to taste them. Just beware: when they say "large" dish they mean something from "really large" to "huge", so "small" should be considered as "normal", or go "large" and... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem for lunch while in Tomar and left very happy. They had about 10 daily specials along with a menu on English that allowed us to identify what each plate was. I ordered a sausage dish which was not in a casing but was breaded and fried. Our waitress also brought us some... More

We were very well served and the steak was very tender. Our plates came very fast but were a bit expensive.

After a whistle stop tour of the Tomar market (wow!) and being sold a pair of sandals by the elderly, but razor sharp lady in the little shoe shop around the corner, we sat down in the shade of a tree outside Tomaz. The quiet, tree-lined street shimmered and the old buildings glowed in the afternoon sun. Rustic, honest, home... More

It's not the biggest restaurant We have visited but, was the one with real fresh ingredients that clearly represents the typical cuisine. All dishes were regional. Safety environment. The Chef "Dona Paula" received us with lote of love. Remainds us our family sunday lunch and that still exists people with heart. Thank you for this experience.

Me and my husband went there following a guide tip. Food is horrible therefore expensive since we couldn't eat. We were hungry and it was not enough to make the food enjoyable. Food wasn't fresh: meat, rice have been just warmed and meat was dry. And appearance was everithing but good.
