We net an old friend at Maestros and while we waited w e feasted our eyes on that Magnificent rock with the flat top. We sat outside aand the thick glass partition allowed us to be outside, yet out of the wind. We had 5yeats of catching up to do, the restaurant was full but the noise levels were pleasant.... More

The food was very good and the service from our waitress was excellent. The noise from the kitchen staff was totally unacceptable.

We were not impressed by the food, but this is a good place to eat simple meals at a correct price, with a very nice view on the beach, the city of Cape Town and Table Mountain. However I would say the premises really deserve some refreshment and this place can sometimes be very noisy

A very average evening that was not cheap. Service was poor - took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Waiter never topped up the glasses and having a large table, she duly got 10% of the bill! Steaks - recommended but wow, was my steak tough! Being a guest, I had to shut up and chew. And at R175, a... More

There is an incredible view of Cape Town from the deck of this restaurant. The food was good and the service started out very well. But for some unknown reason it got quite bad towards the end of our evening which actually spoilt what was a good outing.

Views are great Food is okay, we ordered the fish and chips, batter was great but fish wasn't as good. 7/10 if that helps. Service is slow and the food took a while to come out.

I went to Maestro's on the beach with my Durban friends on Sunday the 5th March 2017 for lunch. Beautiful view, I loved it, but the place is not clean at all, and our waitress was the worst ever. We ordered prawns and she brought us calamari's, the calamari meal was the only meal that was warm, my ribs were... More

I lived in Cape Town for about 5 years and when I returned I only found out about this place. Amazing place with a stunning view, the food is average but the prices are really good for the venue. Best to go to watch the sunset.

I have eaten here before on a previous trip so when I was staying in Milnerton this February I looked forward to eating here on several occasions. For me it's the view that stands out. Get a table outside. Make sure you have your sunglasses with you and get there about an hour before sunset and you will be in... More
