Lovely dinner and great atmosphere. The view makes the restaurant extra special. Service good despite being very busy. Meal a bit pricey but certainly a must visit for great seafood!

If you are looking for expensive seafood, Baia is the place to go, you will be absolutely gouged. They have a monopoly and with their pleasant ocean views it's a complete tourist trap. Be warned, you will pay for bread brought to your table. If...More
I've eaten there a few times over the past 2 years and the food has been consistent. Views are wonderful back to Table Mountain and over the harbour via glass walls. I enjoyed my seafood salad immensely and my lunch partner enjoyed his sea bass...More
There it is, situated in a shopping center at the waterfront. It's huge, a bit cold and quite posh. The good was excellent, the service professional. Why just 4 stars then? Five means all perfect, and the clean atmosphere and the (for South Africa) high...More
We have eaten at Baia a few times now, and it's a good restaurant. Just not great. The service wasn't great, the waitress forgot our order (mind you, we do order too much for 2 x people). We ordered the mussels, oysters, langoustines and linefish....More
Four of us ate here. Nice open air feel with choice of eating inside or out. Glass walls so that you can see action in the harbor. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgable. We started with tempura shrimp with rocket salad.$ nice large shrimp with...More

A good light seafood lunch of seafood salad and kingklip fillet. The calamari in the salad was tasty and the light butter dressing for the fillet combined with some Asian flavours was very tasty. Service was fine and the view of Table Mountain was exceptional.
Fantastic view but really disappointing food. My game fish cheviche starter was tasteless and unappealing and my tuna main was overcooked and tasteless. They did offer not to charge us for my main but still disappointing experience given the beautiful setting.
