Food and ambience

Location and contact

We serve Neopolitan pizza and Modern Italian-inspired food in an informal contemporary space in the centre of Cape Town. From our hand-built pizza oven from Naples to the fresh pasta we serve each night, everything we do shows our love for food. Our menu is small but diverse and we encourage guests to order a number of dishes to share with the table. Pop in for a quick lunch or relax and let our team take care of you for an evening you'll remember

Having moved down from Johannesburg, we have been searching for a good pizza place. I found one on Friday night last week on the corner of Wale and Bree Street. Great thin base pizza, interesting options. Excellent hand-cut fries! Good and friendly service as well.

We had two fabulous pizzas - very Italian crusts and delicious toppings. The Forest Mushroom was terrific and the classic Margarita had a good tomato flavour. The rigatoni with pesto had lots of flavour and was cooked al dente. Tiramisu was great. Good wine selection...More

Had pizza at Bocca before, and my gf and I both thought it was amazing. Now - there are new owners, new décor, and new menu – and both our pizzas were terrible. Burnt, soggy, and chewy pizza base. The original waiter, obviously on a...More
