Always busy, great vibe, nice beers, but the food has been god-awful the last 2 times I've been there. They used to have a fab tortilla espanol, but that's gone along with anything edible, sadly. Stop in for a beer, but don't waste your money on eating.

My sister and I went there on Easter Sunday. Even though the staff had to be away from their families, they were all friendly and helpful. All of the food was AMAZING and fast! We wanted everything on the menu but settled for the filete de carne, cauliflower puree, smoked tomato salad, ham croquettes, and patatas bravas. The presentation was... More

Hugely disappointing. Extremely overpriced beers which are almost half-priced elsewhere. Limited, overpriced menu. Small servings. Convenient location for tourists, but overpriced food and drink takes advantage of the captive market. Pity.

Let's start with the vibe of the place: Saturday night at this fantastic tapas restaurant is absolutely pumping. No trouble getting a walk-in table, but the music is just loud enough and everyone is merry and filling the place with chatter and laughter. The service was good - really friendly and fast. The food: delicious. We had salt and pepper... More

I came here on a Friday evening for bar snacks and cocktails. Lovely! The food was just right, the cocktails delicious and the service, from Jean, was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend :)

Enjoyed a relaxed evening sampling tapas and drinking wine. The service was a bit slow in the beginning but improved once we had our drinks. We ordered a few tapas - olives, patatas, tuna, pork belly - it was quite a lot of food, the portions were quite large. I assume its very busy there - the bathrooms are a... More

Went here for dinner on a tuesdaynight. Working staf was very friendly and the tapas dishes delicious. Quite expensive When you add it all up with a great bottle of Spier Pinotage.... But the service, decoration and fantastic food made me have a great night!

My wife and I decided to try La PARADA on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy but not full and we were seated with ease. Our waitress explained the menu to us - it consists of a n interesting tapas selection and a small mains menu. We decided to try their tapas to get a spectrum... More

We visited on a quiet Sunday. The tapas food was good, service a little slow but not a problem initially. However, we had to call the waiter over to clear our plates and order dessert. Only half our plates were cleared, the rest about 10 minutes later. Dessert took a long time and we were told this was because the... More
