The Bo-Kaap Kombuis serves delicious Malay dishes. Nazli's passion for cooking shines through and her Bobotie is packed full of flavour. It is the best we have ever tasted. We ordered the tasting platters and everything on them was excellent. The rooti was out of this world. After our meal, Nazli and Yusuf invited us to join them for a... More

If you are in the mood for an authentic local experience try the Bo kaap Kombuis. They have a variety of curries on the menu as well as traditional Cape Malay dishes like Denningvleis and Bobotie. Situated in Bokaap with beautiful views of Table mountain and the city. All whilst enjoying a very affordable Halaal meal. Open till late weekdays... More

The best place to experience Cape Malay Cuisine!!! We ordered 3 different tasting platters th have th full experience. Only misleading part was the discruption on the menu: "small portions". Beautiful view of Cape Town and the best end to a lovely evening was the friendly owner, Nazli, who accomponied us outside. Remember no alcohol served.

We had a family lunch birthday celebration at Bo Kaap Kombuis on 04 January 2017. Thanks for a great afternoon! Food and service both excellent. Stunning view of Table Mountain a bonus. We will be visiting again soon.

A warm family orientated establishment run by great hosts Yusuf and Naz Larney. The views of the city and Mountain is spectacular. This fully Halaal eatery gives someone unfamiliar with Cape Malay cuisine the perfect introduction. The small a la carte menu is perfect as well as the buffet. Perfect venue for functions too.

My husband contacted the Bo Kaap Kombuis, before making a reservation,as no prices where displayed on any of the website menus. Approx prices of R90,00 - R110,00 per meal was confirmed telephonically. When we arrived for our meal, we were seated and explained that on this specific evening only a carvery was available. We felt a bit uncomfortable to request... More

Great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit when in Bo Kaap, which itself is a heritage site...eat well without the alcohol...

One tip is to book your table in advance. They are a popular restaurant- and you'll also know whether their restaurant is completely booked out as they are often used for private events. The view is amazing as it is situated at one of the highest points in Bo Kaap. We were fortunate to have one of two tables right... More
