On our first night in Cape Town we were hungry and in need of some entertainment after a long journey from Botswana. We were drawn to this place and it proved to be a good choice. We were welcomed with a smile and shown to a table in a marquee which allowed us to take in some of the atmosphere... More

Popped in for a quick beer on a tour of the Waterfront. Own brew pale ale was a bit yeasty and cloudy for me. Local lager a bit bland. Quenched the thirst, but nothing remarkable. Nice atmosphere.

Had been really looking forward to this place as I love craft beer. I ordered their ipa on waiter recommendation and was given a bland plain lager. I told the waiter about it and he tried to tell me it was ipa. I gave up in the end rather than argue. It was 100% plain bland lager which i don't... More

This place is amazing! Located in a very old building, they serve a wide range of meals, from seafood to pizzas and steaks. They have Mitchell's craft beer on tap. Try the "Old Wobbly" or the "Milk and Honey" - it is delicious!

We ate here twice on spec. The first time for dinner we sat outside. It was a bit chilly but they had Patio heaters so was okay. Quite a few people sat outside. Service was friendly ad efficient. The guiness was superb. We both had Pizza. They were big and absolutely delicious. With two pizzas and two drinks each the... More

If you want a good 300g steak and a brilliant price, then you'll have to visit this restaurant. It's great for a big group and the service is pretty fine. The nice thing about their menu is that there are EVERYTHING on it. From seafood to steak to salads. I would highly recommend this place!

Mitchell's is located in the Victoria and Albert Waterfront area and is very convenient for accessing the shopping and the waterfront. They have a nice outdoor seating area and a small but dark seating area inside. I can't comment on the drinks since I don't drink ale, but the food was mediocre at best. The four of us each ordered... More

Had a filet topped with bleu cheese, rice, and spinach, and it was all stellar. Best meal I've had in Capetown so far!

This was our kind of pub, great music, atmosphere, beers on tap and great food too. We found ourselves back there four times in as many days :)
