We ate here twice on spec. The first time for dinner we sat outside. It was a bit chilly but they had Patio heaters so was okay. Quite a few people sat outside. Service was friendly ad efficient. The guiness was superb. We both had Pizza. They were big and absolutely delicious. With two pizzas and two drinks each the... More

If you want a good 300g steak and a brilliant price, then you'll have to visit this restaurant. It's great for a big group and the service is pretty fine. The nice thing about their menu is that there are EVERYTHING on it. From seafood to steak to salads. I would highly recommend this place!

Mitchell's is located in the Victoria and Albert Waterfront area and is very convenient for accessing the shopping and the waterfront. They have a nice outdoor seating area and a small but dark seating area inside. I can't comment on the drinks since I don't drink ale, but the food was mediocre at best. The four of us each ordered... More

Had a filet topped with bleu cheese, rice, and spinach, and it was all stellar. Best meal I've had in Capetown so far!

This was our kind of pub, great music, atmosphere, beers on tap and great food too. We found ourselves back there four times in as many days :)

Had chicken schnitzel and fries. Fries were good but schnitzel was bland and not enjoyable at all. Companion had a Mexican. Pizza which they said was good. Our waitress disappeared for quite awhile too. Not impressed and wouldn't go back.

I was looking for a place to watch one of the Euro 2016 matches. Upstairs at Mitchell's is a huge area, non-smoking, with loads of HD TV screens. The food was good (I had a Greek Salad, but other diners meals looked OK). I wasn't impressed by their own craft beer, it tasted soapy to me, but there were several... More

Cape Town leg of the famous Knysna establishment. Beer tasting and bar snacks highly recommended. Service good.

What can I say, was sitting having a beer a Mitchells V&A Waterfront and lots of cockroaches running around the bar seating area where people were drinking and eating. I finished my bear and sat outside rather. Another point was that a female diner who had ordered a calamari main complained that she had six small pieces of calamari and... More

On a pouring day in Cape Town, my son and I were looking for some place to eat. We stumbled upon Mitchell's in Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The food was delicious and the price was inexpensive. Good drink selection also. Going back there tonight.
