This is a difficult review - personally, if i could give 3.5 stars, I would feel that is most accurate. The food is very good and although at the higher end of the price spectrum, relatively good value for money as the portion sizes are good considering the focus on 'fine dining'. We enjoyed all of our food, from starters... More

Came here on a recommendation from our hotel and we're not disappointed. This was an incredible restaurant with fantastic service and outstanding food. My husband and I were lucky enough to try to chef's special the evening we went, which was kudu, a delicious game meat that was exquisitely prepared. The restaurant is centrally located and full of locals, which... More

It says here opens at 6:30am. We went for breakfast at 8:30am on Jul 30th - it was closed with no sign of sorry or any excuse. Also the place was hard to find as it is located not on the building side street.

Started with crispy crunchy bread with a lightly spread of butter, yummy! The seafood soup - butternut flavored with a decent size & portion of mussels were delicious. Main meal consist of braised lamb shoulder with a lamb cutlet a succulent meal. Chicken cordon blue with thin slices of pear and a small crispy chicken wing average . The rump... More

We ate here for dinner after finding that it conveniently shared a courtyard with our hotel the Cape Heritage and then checking out the reviews here on TripAdvisor. The experience certainly lived up to the positive reviews.....our meal was excellent. For first course we had butternut squash gnocci which was excellent (my wifes favorite gnocci ever she said) along with... More

Two trips to CT and I went both times for a good reason. Delicious food in a lovely courtyard setting. A place full of locals! Go!

I ate here my first night in Cape Town and it was my best meal during my stay. Not to say the rest of my dinners were terrible, but this top notch fare. The menu changes daily according to the chalkboard that was presented to me. I got the oxtail terrine as appetizer and then the ostrich medallions for the... More

My first visit to Bizerca impressed tremendously! The wine list is small, yet well thought through, and offers some great choice. But it is the food that makes this place, very interesting mouthwatering descriptions on the blackboard makes the choice difficult and eventually I settled for a butternut based seafood soup, and my guest for a beetroot starter which was... The name may be different in Trip Advisor versus what is on the front of the restaurant, but the location of this fine food establishment is correct. We ate at Bistrot Bizerca on our first evening in Cape Town. It was much better than I was expecting. We had a reservation (made by our hotel) and I am glad we... More

Met up with some friends from Cape Town and the food was truly different. The oysters with citrus were amazing. Had a great wine list to wash it all down. Waiter knew his stuff of the food and drink. Not cheap but worth it.
