Had an awesome birthday treat by my wife here. The welcome was really nice and our waiter very courteous. The food was really good, only criticism would be that the moroccon lamb and leg of lamb was a bit tough. Other than that it was amazing. We had the stuffed mussels as a starter and that was probably better then... More

First of all this is the first time I am doing a review, we have been to Madame Zingara 4 time over the past 4. The first three where really great but I am upset with the service received at the last visit in Jan on the 23. When we where there we had a waiter who got upset with... More

Quite the most spectacular dining experience you could ever hope to have. Extraordinary, bewildering, absorbing.. you can't express through the right adjectives just how entertaining it is. But only do it once as nothing will beat the surprise it takes you by. Seriously weird and wonderful. 😀

Having been to MZ 3 times in the past and thoroughly enjoying it I was really looking forward to this years show at Monte. Sadly it did not live up to the expectation. Disappointing compared to previous years and definitely watered down. We were not offered the promised welcome drinks/canapes, the table decor was bland and boring, three bread rolls... More

Me and my family do Madame Zingaras once a year and it is just amazing you get to have amazing food and watch a great show full of laughter and acrobatic amazement. The best thing on the menu is there chocolate cilli fillet it's truly out of this world. A must go place if you in Jhb, Cpt, Durban it... More

Disappointing compared to the previous two shows. The food was okay, the service not that great, the drag queens' foul language distasteful, almost embarrassing and the acts boring. Despite paying the full ticket prices we were charged an extra R80.00 cover charge on the final bill and then was expected to pay an additional tip to the waiter? Would not... More

We went to the Madame Zingara this past Saturday(5th Dec 2015) in Jhb, Monte casino. I had kept it as a surprise for my fiancé for months expecting the amazing show it used to be. But Sadly, it was such a disappointment. There was just way too much average singing and blank spaces during the show. There were hardly any... More

Oh dear, definitely not what it used to be. I had the privilege of going to the 2013 MZ at Waterfront three times, and the one at the Grand Parade twice. Worlds apart in all aspects; food, service and very sadly, the most important part, the show. Look, Cathay Specific will always be phenomenal - but where did the acts... More

I had never been before , visited in Sept 2015 and quite an experience. We attended a Friday afternoon matinee and it was pretty much sold out , which was quite a surprise. When one enters it's as if you leave the real world behind and you get a few surprises along the way. The acts were very good ,... More
