Born circa 1988, before the opening of the V&A Waterfront, Panama Jacks has evolved from a boatyard servicing the Royal Cape Yacht Club to a quality Seafood Restaurant known all over the world. Originally situated in Table Bay Harbour, in the working half of the Cape Town docks, Panama Jacks is unique in its setting with all the hustle and bustle of a commercial port going about its daily business. Take off your jacket, loosen your tie and come see what the fuss is all about!

Waiter took order slouched on our table, was not informed or knowledgeable about the menu or the food preparation.
Recently took out two suppliers from Poland . I was actually embarrased what my guests where served .
For a seafood restaurant this was shocking.
Today I am having a meeting with clients of mine that were at Panama Jack's one evening before is and...More
We have eaten three times now at the new venue, which is more upmarket. The food was average the first time and the second time, was very ordinary and the third time, it looked as though we had got someone else's cancelled order. I think...More
Panama Jacks used to be my go-to seafood restaurant when they were located in the harbour but since moving the food, service and attitude has been abysmal (not to mention that they have done away with the complimentary bread). I have tried the latest venue...More
