Visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Cape Town. A terrific place to eat with beautifully fresh fish perfectly cooked. Also a great sense of fun! Wouldn't hesitate to go back again if in the area.

As an earlier reviewer explained, you are escorted to a display with a large assortment of fresh fish. We were in a party of four and all chose different items. The problem was that they seemed to have been all cooked together, so that some...More

We had spontaneous lunch here. One of the best places for seafood on our trip. The waiter explained the available fresh fish and seafood which was shown in a vitrine - we could choose a sample platter with different fish etc. The quality was amazing...More

I'd been to the Codfather many times but this was our first family meal there. We were not disappointed. The choice, quality, and preparation of the food, excellent service and atmosphere made for a great evening

We just happened to walk in based on someones recommendation. If you're British don't be fooled by the Fish 'n Chip shop type name. This is a fine dinning experience. Luckily there was a spare table - great luck in fact as we had an...More

This restaurant was close to the hotel we were staying in and a lovely place to have our first lunch in Cape Town. Plenty of food, lovely wine and very popular place. Would go back

As mentioned in a few of the reviews, this place is expensive. It is quite possible that if the dollar hadn't been as strong as it was against the rand at the time, I may have had a different opinion. Regardless, the food was fantastic!...More

This is a busy restaurant so you are advised to book in the evenings although during the afternoon walk ins were taken. We chose a mixed seafood selection form the display and it was served up well cooked and presented nicely. The prices were reasonable.

Hi Claire Sorry I'm so late in answering, it can tend to be noisy so it's probsbly best to go about 7ish when they're not so busy. John

I don't think so. It's a dine-in restaurant. I didn't see many delivery services in ZA, except for Debonairs Pizza.
