The place is so peaceful, ambiance is perfect, staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. Simply enjoyed the butter chicken with garlic naan. Their prices are not too heavy on the wallet and their portions are perfect.

Visited over weekend and all Restaurants were exceptionally busy and many rather pricey . The Raj returned phone calls for reservation purposes and meal was exceptional and well priced. Service for table of six also great despite it being fully packed. Well done ! If it is Indian cuisine you are after this would be Restuarant I would support .

Great food and ambience...book to avoid disappointment. Friendly staff and food arrived hot and tasty. Lots of tour groups were there but a table was arranged for us. Food was very authentic and good value as well.

Fantastic food... delicious moist starter of chicken tikka was enough for two. My madras chicken was the best I've ever eaten... (there have been many), and very generous portions... 'take away' was enough for the next evening! Bliss!

Typical Indian food - but quantities are debatable. R169 for 6 prawns. We weren't impressed with this. The chicken korma was nice and affordable. Waiter asked what side we wanted with our main without advising us that it would cost extra. A bit sneaky in our eyes! It was a decent meal but wouldn't go back based on the cost.

Nothing to write home about, average and slightly over priced. Their so called hot vindaloo was a medium at best.

Ate there twice. First day was hopeless. The service couldn't have been worse. The food was very spicy. The waiter served wrong items. But the second day all seemed to get on track. Better service (still not amazing). The food was nice. The ambience is nice. But very congested.

I ordered parcel 1Brain masala, 2 chicken Schwann rice and 1 chicken lollypop with medium gravy and 4 lachaa paratha. Bill # 14 dated 06 / 07 /2016 Rs. 920. Issues with the above order: 1. Lachaa paratha was made of wheat flour instead of madia very thick and inner layer was raw. 2. Chicken shezwan rice were very sauggy... More

Visited Raj with a big group of friends. We got a big private table. Service was good. Food is delicious and of a very high quality with a lot of options to choose from. Worth a visit when you are at Sun City. I will be back.

We had a family dinner for 2 adults and toddler at The Raj and found the dishes average and expensive for what we received. Had 2 naan breads, rice, chicken masala, prawn masala, 2 cobra beers, fruit juice and a masal tea. Including a tip this was over ZAR600. The rice was rather dry and spoiled the dinner.
