Went here with a local friend. Ordinary food - nothing special. Similar to Denny's. Ice tea was very weak - like water. Taco salad showed no creativity. Friend had the shrim - which she liked and really enjoyed the potato salad. Was not crowded, so service was fast.

I'm not understanding the ballyhoo about this restaurant and its high rating on this site. Is it that there are slim pickings in Lake Havasu? And the fly situation was out of control (they seemed to come out of nowhere as soon as the coffee was served), so much that the waitress joked about us taking our friends home when... More

You might want to consider sharing since the portions are big. The service and food are both worth coming back for if we are in Havasu again.

I definitely like this place a lot as their chicken fried stack was fresh and not so greasy. The portion was pretty huge. The chicken fried stack was cooked and seasoned really well, Service is was great and prices are decent. I will definitely come back next time we are in there area.

Excellent breakfast place, always very busy. You need to beat the rush. Food is consistently good for breakfast, some the eggs are overdone, depends on who is cooking, I guess. Otherwise, always a great choice for breakfast.

If you are really hungry and are looking to fill up on good food, try the Black Bear Diner. I have never had a bad meal and the quantity of food you get is hard to finish in a single sitting. My wife always has enough for a second meal the next day. The restaurant is clean and the cervice... More

Black Bear Diner is one of a small chain. It has excellent food and decent prices. You always get a good meal and you always get a large portion.

On Jenn's recommendation, I got the prime rib and eggs, wife got chicken fried chicken and son got biscuits and gravy. Their meals arrived first and their eyes got big from the portion size alone. Until mine arrived and I thought their eyes would bug out. I thought they misunderstood and brought me a side of beef. It was huge.... More
