A pleasant lunch under umbrellas, protected from the wind, at the Girls on the Square, in Wilderness. The wine list takes a bit of time to sort through as it’s interesting and extensive. While many of the dishes aren’t suitable for a diabetic, we shared...More

The Girls Restaurant in their previous location has always been one of our favourite restaurants on the Garden Route, and was afraid that the move to a larger and better location will impact negatively on our opinion of this gem. We were however pleasantly surprised...More

We had dinner here on our recent trip to Wilderness but unfortunately the Kingklip dish did not come up to expectations. We felt the flavour was overshadowed by the pineapple salsa served on top of the fish. The service as usual was faultless and the...More

A very pleasant experience. We enjoyed the restaurant's ambiance. Their Chicken and Steak Trinchado as well as their nachos was really scrumptious, great cocktails too. We found the staff to be very friendly, attentive and well informed, Would definitely go back when in Wilderness again.

Probably the worst meal we have had in South Africa (but we have eaten at some amazing restaurants to be fair). The food is workmanlike. I had kingklip which was chewy with an uninspiring pineapple sauce. The whitebait were too small and it was rather...More

The restaurant seating is on both first and ground level. I am quiet certain it can be accessible to someone on crutches because there are dining tables on the ground floor. About opening times, I can't tell. We came early... More
