We chose Bite Your Tounge based on the below reviews. Unfortunately we were terribly disappointed. Our sushi arrived fairly quickly after our order, however it was tasteless. The Wasabi was bland and looked like it was leftover by the previous customers. Our spring rolls were definitely old and smelled so bad we didn't even dare taste it. All in all... More

Its casual and has a home like feeling. The sushi and meals are abaolutely divine. Favourites are the tokyo rolls, prawn towers, tempura hand roll and the meals lamb teriyaki with egg fried rice! No other sushi compared. A bit pricy which limits ordering but enjoyed it.

I have been buying sushi from Bite your tongue for years now. I have built up a friendship with the staff because of my frequent visits. Good sushi at half the price. I usually have , Salmon Roses, Salmon sashimi, avo and prawn salad, tuna salad, tokyo rolls and cucumber rolls.

Went for Sushi well after lunchtime, and the place was expectedly very quite. There was a limited amount of sushi on the conveyors and we were served off it. The food was good and tasty but nothing special and the prices were fairly high. The decor was below average and had a bit of a rundown feel. Service was good.... More

One of my favourite sushi spots in Durban. The sushi is always fresh. We love going on Saturdays when all the sushi is half price. A must for all sushi lovers in Durban.

We had dinner here and it was very good. the restaurant was small and had a covered outside eating area. It was full of Chinese diners so we thought this is a good sign. We were not disappointed. The service was good and the food cooked by the Chinese chef was really authentic. the spicy fish dish was quite hot.... More

Good sushi but if you are looking for "pretty" sushi then this is not the place! It gets very busy so the chefs are always under pressure resulting in some dishes not being sushi perfect! The taste however, has never been questionned and the half price menu is awesome. We often pay a visit for a bit of sushi!

The finest sushi in Durban. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday all sushi is half price. Great for a Saturday lunch around the pool when you get a takeaway. Generally the wasabi is fresh and pungent. Generous helpings of wasabi and pickled ginger with an array of salmon is our favorite - sandwiches are excellent and so are the salmon roses.

Amazing sushi. Really fresh and tasty. The other dishes I've tried were OK but I would really come back just for the sushi. Service could be improved.
