My husband love strong curries while me (the softie) have to choose the mild option. I love the Indian flavours and the saffron rice.

When in the mood for curry dishes, this is our first choice restaurant in the Vaal. The setting and seating is basic, but the food is very good with portion sizes catering for the hungry.

When House of Curries opened it was very good. Sadly this is not the case anymore. We ordered take-out and waited at the restaurant for the food. The service and food was disappointing, and nothing tasted fresh. I have no issue waiting for freshly prepared food, but here we waited long and the food was stale and bland

I have had the pleasure of dining at the house of curries on several occasions. They cater for the softies with a mild option and can deliver on tasty spicy dishes which is great for the diner looking for the spicy side of life.

Great curries yummy take out- Good veggie curries make this a solid choice for a spicy evening in with couple of beers and good movie. Very consistent and well priced.

We decided to visit House of Curry with it being conveniently located. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the service was fantastic. The staff were attentive and friendly and the food was amazing! We were offered poppadoms and dips whilst we waited for our main course which didnt take long to arrive anyway! Best curry... More

The best curry house I have been to in a long time. The decor might be lacking, and the service could be improved on, but the food is to notch. We ordered ahead as the food cam take up to an hour to prepare. Well worth a return visit or six.

This Indian restaurant lacks authenticity. Ordered a prawn masala and a lamb madras. Got a prawn madras and a lamb masala. Restaurant owner tried to cover up the mistake by saying that's how both dishes were made at this restaurant. Unfortunately for the owner, we'd been to India and knew the difference. Also the popadoms were shop-bought not fresh and... More

Great place to go eat at weekly! The curries are of the best in South Africa. Puka Platter a winner every time. Best Chocolate milkshakes ever.
