We visit Prosopa occasionally when the apetitie for contemporary fine dining paired with an excellent wine selection strikes. Owner managed, one can most often expect to be greeted by Dino upon arrival, or at least encounter him upon his visit to your table to welcome...More

In summary: Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, a snow-white table cloth, impeccable service. In detail: we had the mezze platter to start with, and the highlight were the meat balls. Or perhaps the dolmades. Hard to decide. We shared the mains as well and both the...More

Thank you for your comments on your dinner at Prosopa. I would have preferred it if you had communicated these to me personally when I attended to your table on the night. You failed to mention however, that you visited us during Restaurant Week where...More

We went for lunch during Restaurant week. We have been there twice before and really enjoyed the food, but this time around the same food that got us salivating the first time left us with disappointment. The starters were great but the mains, ribeye steak...More

Description
The elegant, stylish interior creates a sophisticated, fresh atmosphere at Prosopa Restaurant, situated in the heart of Waterkloof Heights and surrounded by ambassadorial and ministerial residences. Prosopa’s extensive Mediterranean menu is influenced by the flavours of Greece, Portugal and Spain. The signature lamb dish Kleftiko is deboned leg of lamb wrapped in vine leaves & foil stuffed with feta, fresh tomato, herbs and spices and slow roasted in the oven. An option one cannot stay away from is the fantastic array of meze one can have on a platter or individually. The extensive Diners Club Award-winning wine list offers many a gem to be enjoyed beside the fireplace on a cold winter’s night or on the veranda with the curtains blowing in a soft summer breeze.
