We went to the oriental and were one of the first guests...we were welcomed by a friendly gentleman and offered a drink. It was a slow and confusing start ( to get going and get drinks) after that, but it got better and better. Must say, the menu is a bit taxing....all the reading and the wine list (thick book)... Hire their cinema and have dinner afterwards. Group of 10 or more- perfect. French style servings. Choose your own movie, after dinner visit the amazing artwork museum on the premises. All in all an experience to remember.

Well I would say a well deserved number 1 on Trip Advisor, even if purely for effort factor. Visiting this restaurant you are being cooked for by a top executive chef who takes pride in everything she does. Presentation is faultless and it is a lovely little oasis to visit in the middle of nowhere. The vegetable / Earth dishes... More

What an amazing experience! I can just reiterate what has been stated numerous times - wow! Our table enjoyed the Grande Degustation and Connoisseur wine pairing and although not cheap, it was worth every cent. Will definitely return to experience the next seasonal menu or one of the wine-tasting events. Well done team Chantel!

The food truly is art on a plate, the service is exceptional, the taste is mind blowing. For any foodie anywhere, this is the last place you will ever need to visit. Ask for the private room, great for the extra indulgence and great for 6 people.

We had our annual wine club dinner away for the first at this restaurant - and the only thing I can say is we were all blown away. Many of us have had the privilege of eating at fine restaurants around the world - and this has to be the best. Chantel, Mari, Germain and team have created something really... More

What a fabulous experience. Delicious in every way. Once you get over the reluctance to eat something that beautiful you are rewarded with an explosion of flavour. It is edible art! The presentation of the food is beyond beautiful and the combination of flavours is excitingly different and unique. I loved every plate of the 9 plate meal. The local... More
