I stayed at the Vineyard hotel for a night because of a flight problem, and kind of bumbled into this restaurant without any expectations. You immediately get the sense that it's a big deal and I ended up being lucky to get a table. The food was just amazing. No other word. Chose the 7-course tasting menu and was surprised,... More

We tried the 7 course menu and were not disappointed. Each course was presented in a professional way with a full description of the dish. The taste buds were actively enjoying every mouthful and it was a perfect way to spend a Summers evening.

It's hard to get a reservation here. The restaurant is tucked to the side of the Vineyard Hotel in a gorgeous setting off the main terrace. It's relatively empty early in the evening but fills up at about 7:30 PM. You can have a la carte or opt for the 7 course tasting menu. They usually want both diners to... More

The 7 course food and pairing is a delight for the senses. Beautiful food where every bite is a taste sensation. What a treat!

If you like pretension, you may enjoy the outrageously priced cater-to-tourists restaurant, which is disappointing in trying too hard. Superb service but my so-called steak was like four thin pieces of cardboard or blotting paper with great sauces. No taste in the meat, almost as if it was sanitized. Try Ash in town or Foodbarn in Noordhoek for a much... More

We did this as a group and we're blown away by the food and beautiful detail in each course. It is however a bit pricey!

Myoga is a very good restaurant in the Vineyard hotel, with beautiful views of Table mountain. Really worth going to even if you are not staying in the hotel. Great food. Try to find out and book the wine pairing dinners, which we unfortunately missed.

We have dined at Myoga on previous visits to Capetown and enjoyed it though each year it gets a bit more eclectic and not quite as good as the last. We had dinner on a Tuesday night. We opted for the a la carte menu. There were several (about 5 or 6) menu changes on the night which was disappointing.... More

Most of the reviews for Myoga seemed to be extremely positive ("best ever!") or very negative (worst ever!"). My wife and I went for lunch and our experience was very good. The food in particular was good--we did a la carte--although I was disappointed in the lack of apparent techniques after seeing so many people rave about the fancy methods... More

Went here for my husbands birthday. Absolutely love this restaurant, the setting, staff and food is excellent. We had the 7 course menu which was exceptionally delicious and creative. Each dish was beautifully plated and all so delicious. Our vegetarian son was thrilled as each of his dishes were just as good as ours. Lots of food so go hungry... More
