We enjoyed a meal of tapas and drinks. The staff were good and there were more than enough dishes on the menu to keep us happy. A lovely atmosphere out of the hustle and bustle of Tel Aviv. Recommend the rose by the glass and...the pisco sours.More
Vicky'c such an unpredictable place. It has a bit of everything - stunning Spanish decor, fine dining feel yet has sporty bar atmosphere on a busy day. Give it to them for the large variety of eats and drinks.
I have no complaints with the...food, actually pleasantly surprised by their steaks. However, the service is very inconsistent - can wow you or leave you feeling disappointed on the day. Some sections at the back need a revamp.
It's place that leaves you feeling like more can be done with this lovely set up.More
We were really looking forward to trying this place and ordered from them on ubereats their description and menu sounded great and we ended up ordering the ribs and the lamb shank. It arrived promptly but my ribs were extremely dry and chard bitter my...chips were cold and still rock hard!!! The lamb shank was good though towards the fatty side and my cheese cake was horrible and definitely not FRESH. Overall a put off for the price we paid and what we received.More
Overall impression is that they lack service and attention to detail. The food was tasty and for the environment (pub/bar/?) it was not bad. Went there yesterday (Thursday night), it was lacking any atmosphere. The place needs maintenance and definitely a injection of table service....Had a voucher from Groupon, but never used it, as we wanted to try other dishes on the menu. Will be back on a different night to make a final decision if it should be written off or kept as an alternative dining space.More
We went to Vicky Christina's last Saturday expecting the atmosphere to be quite lively but it was dead! Ordered mojitos and it was more water than cocktail!
We had pork ribs and lamb chops for mains. Pork ribs were over cooked and dry, while the...lamb chops were not seasoned or basted at all and tasted quite gamy. It was our first time there and will be our last. This restaurant needs a new chef!More
I purchased a groupon for lamb shank at Vicky Christina's. I was a little worried as we had never heard of the restaurant, but we have decided to give some new places a try. It was definitely worth it and we will definitely be back....The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a really enjoyable night out.More
My friend's got engaged and decided to hold their engagement party here. I loved the ambiance of the place when I walked through the door and was greeted friendly by the staff. The waiter was amazing handling a table of 20people. The live entertainment was...awesome and although they forgot my food when everyone else's arrived, they quickly made a plan and 5min later the best Salmon dish I have ever eaten arrived. Highly recommended to anyone that likes a loud, vibey restuarant with excellent food and live entertainment.More
We arrived to this very over-heated restaurant, which was very noisy.
There were four of us and Paella was ordered by us all.
It was not Paella by any stretch of the imagination - more like a rice stew with carrots and peas three prawns...a few (4-6) tiny mussels and a bit of leathery calamari. The order was muddled up - mussels forgotten on one plate etc. The food was luke-warm, the plates ice cold. We also ordered desert - a lavender creme brulee - whihc wasnt a brulee at all!! A bad experience - never to returnMore
My son and I joined my hubby on his business trip to jhburg for the week. Thanks to TRIPADVISOR we found this restaurant and booked immediately. We had safe and secure parking close to the entrance. The seating area is divided into 2 areas, one...being a peaceful dining area and the other with lots of strategically placed tv's, can double as a sports bar. The staff are very friendly and professional. We started off with the oyster/tomato mix shooter (and just added a tequila to it!!!). The food was absolutely divine and not too expensive... real value for money!! This is definitely a TAPAS restaurant to add to your bucket list!More
