Had a great experience at Yamitsuki with friends. Service, food and wine was great! Best you get there before 7 because it was full from then on and parking can be a nuisance when news cafe next door is open.

This is a lovely little sushi/noodle/dim sum and teppanyaki bar. The food is fresh...very tasty and the menu offers a fairly good variety of options. It's a vibey eatery where the waiting staff are friendly...helpful and good at what they do. It would be fabulous in summer as it has a small outdoor section as well. They offer a variety... More

I like to try different places although I also usually return to my favorites often. I haven't been to Yamatsuki in a month or two, but just had to return. They now have a two or three course menu. Decided to give it a try. Went for the Dim Sum combo as a starter, it's even better than before. Now... More

We enjoyed the show and food that was served this evening. Our dinner food was three course teppanyaki set and additional chicken stir fry. The chef made our stay very enjoyable and fun. I suggest coming early so you don't have to wait that long! Will come back again if there's a chance. *This shop won it's annual teppanyaki competition... More

Warm and cosy on a cold night. We had Dim Sum, Sashimi, Tom Yum Goon soup & Teriyaki steak. Everything was fresh and delicious! Service was good and prices are as you'd expect for a decent Sushi restaurant. We'll be back soon!

Wasnt a big sushi eater at all. I love watching the food go by. I now crave sushi. The peanut butter chicken is yummy and the edamame beans are good. Love the green tea refills, the strawberry and cream cheese fashion roll and the salmon and avo and cheese rolls.good service. Nice ambience, bit pricey

A visit with friends on our way home to Jeffreys Bay. I love sushi, I love sashimi, that is why I eat sushi. I was very disappointed after asking a manager about the quality of their sashimi especially the tuna and then receiving very poor sashimi. The restaurant was busy with a very nice vibe. Al the fun ideas with... More

It's my neighborhood sushi bar. High chairs and a belt delivering sushi. I'm not a fan of strawberry and cream cheese sushi or biltong and mayo sushi, so I had to order off the menu. They don't have the fish available and so you are left with the staple salmon and tuna. Sashimi is ok but not quite as firm... More

Was looking forward to trying the sushi here but it was mediocre. The rice was cold and hard, like you would get if it had been refrigerated. The sushi combinations are quite strange, some with strawberry. The didn't have classics like Dragon roll. The dim sum platter was nice though.

Good sushi selection. Service was good. Sashimi wasn't as fresh as it should be. Ideal place for quick lunch.

Description
Founded in 2000, Yamitsuki introduced the concept of Japanese style cuisine, presented to customers via a unique conveyor belt system. The experience was fun and exciting while the food was revolutionary. Yamitsuki became a market leader in sushi restaurants.

As our main focus, our sushi bar has the minimalistic traditional Japanese dishes offering timeless perfection, as well as modern American and European influenced sushi dishes.

Over time other influences such as Thai and Chinese were incorporated into the menu which led to the development of a fusion Asian menu, offering a Noodle, Teppanyaki and Dim Sum bar, with a variety of oriental soups, sweet and sour dishes and oriental curries.

Yamitsuki offers a stylish atmosphere with friendly staff providing our customers with a great place to unwind, relax and to enjoy their dining experience.

Yamitsuki is defined as a one stop sushi and oriental cuisine restaurant providing fast paced on-the-move lifestyles with the freshest sushi and a healthy meal. Our freshly prepared delicious food is delivered to our customers via sit-down, take away or delivery.

Our warm atmosphere and friendly service, combined with great value, offers an experience that becomes addictive.
