Kayents is a small town and the Amigo cafe is small as well, which means that this restaurant is very popular, so be prepared to wait for a seat and for food. However, it is worth the wait. A menu combination of Mexican/Navajo food means it is quite unusual - we had the fry bread and pork posole. Prices are... More

Wait staff was short-handed, so we waited quite awhile to be seated. Since there is no waiting area, it was awkward standing next to other diners while we waited to be seated. Food was ok, nothing special, but our waiter bent over backward to make up for the long wait. I would give this restaurant a second chance to prove... More

We ended up in this place attracted by the high review on Trip Advisor, but we had a terrible experience. The place was dirty and everything had a sense on unclean, starring from the staff. The owner never talked to us and more than once when we called to have the check even ignored us. Our server was slow and... More

This was a great little restaurant. Great Chicken Chimichanga's, and you must get the fry bread a la mode for desert.

Not too impressive as you drive up, dirt/gravel parking lot with some pretty good sized potholes. Better inside, but on the cramped side with I think it was 16 tables in a 20X30 room. But we were there for food, not atmosphere and it didn't disappoint. I've been on a run for a while with some really forgettable Mexican food... More

In American standards, this place is very good. Everything cooked well and was fresh. The prices was very good and the service was very attending. After a month of a trip this place was like oasis in the desert.

Went here on the way back from monument valley and we were not disappointed. I ordered the chili rellanos and fry bread. The chili was just I make it at home, and at around 11 dollars, was a real treat. The fry bread was delicious and hot and oh, so, wonderful. I only wish my local Mexican restaurant was half... More
