Altho there aren't many places in Kayenta, this is actually a great little place. It is small and busy with locals and tourists alike. The food is good and the service is friendly and prompt. Can't go wrong, but I would especially recommend the fry bread dessert - I love fry bread anyway and this is a special treat -... More

Small restaurant. Friendly staff. Good Mexican food. A great place to stop before enjoying the beauty of Monument Valley.

This tiny place was full when we got there for dinner. It looked like mostly locals and a few travelers like us. We were seated quickly and the service was very good. The Mexican food was also very good, though not spectacular. We were all happy with our meals, but nothing was "awesome!" We don't get to the Southwest very... More

Outstanding Indian tacos at Amigo Cafe! Super friendly service, huge portions, and very reasonable prices. Wish that I could remember the name of our server. He was certainly a kind-hearted soul! My only regret is that I do not have an Amigo Cafe in my state (New Hampshire)! When we return to Kayenta we will certainly return to the Amigo... More

I visited here about 2:30 on a weekday afternoon and they were moderately busy. I was seated after a few minutes and was given a menu and brought my drink. The hostess then said my waitperson would be over to take my order. I then sat there for a good 15 minutes while other parties were taken care of, tables... More

So don't let my rating of 3/5 fool you. The restaurant was decent compared to the other choices in town and around- I'm simply assigning a rating compared to the TexMex i love in Dallas, Texas. I'll start by saying I love spicy food but their salsa lit me up. I wish it was a little saltier but the spice... More

Before we even visited Kayenta, I had read online that this little Mexican restaurant came highly recommended, so we made a point of dining there. Very friendly native American staff. Good, spicy, filling food. You can't go wrong with their HUMUNGOUS Navajo tacos.

Loved their salsa that comes with the chips! Nice kick and awesome flavor. Hubby had combo, but the Navajo Taco was the best items on the menu!

This is a great little restaurant in Kayenta. I stopped because I wanted Mexican food and it was right off the highway. When I saw lots of cars I figured it would be a good choice. My food was excellent. Lots of choices on the menu and friendly efficient waitress. I highly recommend this place.

Thank Connie S
