There is a small museum exhibit honoring the WWII Navajo code talkers in the Burger King. These heroes deserve this honor and more. Across the parking lot is an exhibit of traditional Hogans with informative signage. Worth a quick stop. Also, the burgers are good.

A Burger King is a Burger King. But this one has a display case full of memorabilia relating to the WW II Navajo Code Talkers. I like to stop there just to support them.

Standard fare for BK but has an interesting historical exhibit about the WWII Navajo code talkers. The place was acceptably clean.

We stopped here on way to monument valley. They have a great display documenting the code breakers -a group of Navajo soldiers who served in WWII. Who knew you could have a whopper and learn something?!?!?

We drove into Kayenta famished. The only restaurants we could find were the back-to-back Burger King and McDonalds. For what it was it was acceptable and filled a hole. An American on a coach tour joined us and we had a good chat. By midday she had already done Grand and Bryce Canyons and was fuelling up ready for a... More

The exhibition honouring the Navajo Code Talkers of WWII is located at the Burger King restaurant. THe short film in which the veterans recall their experiences at Iwa Jima is very moving. The artefacts are well exhibited ouside the restaurant in a small museum and also inside as well. This was such a surprising start to our journey into Monument... More

I did NOT expect to eat at a Burger King on this trip, at least not write a positive review, but in this case it was actually very good!

You may imagine a Burger King is a Burger King and what's the big deal? It appeals to one who's home town doesn't have this chain. But the food is really only pretty good. I enjoyed the different desserts, better than in most fast food places. But What is outstanding is the history exhibit recognizing the Navajo code talkers of... More
