I had a "slider"… My husband had a Navajo taco. Both were absolutely exceptional. And the beauty of the restaurant area is way above par. Highly recommended!!

We ate two dinners. Both were very good, very ample servings and moderately priced. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offered excellent service. We appreciated that we could visit in a relaxed atmosphere. It was such a satisfying experience I wish it was our hometown place.

I usually try to eat anyplace, but the hotel restaurant. The Rueben Heflin is located in the Hampton Inn. However, Kayenta, AZ is a small town without a lot of eating options, so we decided to try it after a long day of driving. The restaurant has a very pleasing atmosphere and the food was very good. Some standouts for... More

Excellent food and service. One of the best meals we have had since traveling. Roast beef that was so tender you can cut it with a fork. Baked chicken with capers was wonderful, had a great Italian salad and grilled vegetables and ice cream for desert. Great staff.

The special of the night was braised lamb shank and it was good. Falling off the bone and as big as a turkey leg. Good garlic mashed potatoes with sauteed squash. Service was good and everthing was worth the price.

Very good service! We didn't have anything elaborate for dinner....my wife had a Chefs Salad and I had a sandwich on Indian Fry Bread....very generous portions. This is a very convenient location inside the Hampton Inn.

Staying in Kayenta, dining choices are limited. We stayed at the Hampden and decided to try the highly touted Reuben Heflin. After being seated, we waited longer than necessary for a server. After ordering, we again waited an inordinate amount of time (and noted the table next to us still had not been served). The salads finally arrived and were... More

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Kayenta after visiting Monument Valley. The restaurant which is part of the Inn was a delight. Very tastefully decorated, clean and a great menu. I had the fajitas and they were great. Staff was very personable and informative. We really enjoyed our stay and our meal. Easy access to the highway to get on... More

We had dinner there few day ago and it was terrible. The service was rude, the food terrible, not fresh and very heavy (don't order their home taco! ). I ask to remove onions an onions was inside. The fried bread was very dry) If you spend the night in Kayenta better to try burger king...

There are not many places to eat in Kayenta or the surrounding area. This is the restaurant in the Hampton Inn and if you are staying there, it is very convenient. If you're not, it is still a good choice. The food is not gourmet but it is ok. The menu is varied with a couple of Navajo specialties. The... More
