Lovely position overlooking beach. Really good service. Chicken schnitzel thin with just right amount of coating and a lovely thin cheese sauce. Not the usual "gloopy" sauce.

Whether you sit inside or out, you wont be disappointed. I liked the cleanliness of the place even the outside deck was very clean. Now here is my gripe, there is a sign in the window along the lines of - absolutely no dogs - no matter how cute! - inside there is another sign, life is short so break... More

Very nice location by the ocean. The meals were well prepared and plentiful quantities all around. The servers all seemed to be very attentive to their clients and ours server was no different. The meals were very fresh and tasty. The open atmosphere was quite enjoyable. This could be a nice family evening or a romantic one with a window... More

We booked a beachfront table..on arrival they were unable to accommodate us as there were 3 of us stuffed into a corner table for two.. We were obviously disappointed. They made the best of a bad situation. However I felt as if we were being "indulged". The food was really delicious...I had an amazing Mossel Bay sole. So we went... More

We asked for 2 tables to be joined near the window. The waitress said she was not allowed to do this.I ordered tea while we waited for friends and encountered the'Manager' of the place- obviously not suited to the job and really hating every minute of it.Go elsewhere in Plett- the vibe and service is so much nicer at the... Dear Michie05 Your waitress says that she proposed to take your steak to the kitchen. If found to be indeed tough, you would have received a replacement. However, you apparently told her to leave it - it was fine. By the time management knew about it, the evidence was gone. You must have been very unfortunate to receive a tough... More

After pointing out to at least 2 Staff Members that the steak was tough, the Complaint was dismissed with limited interest from one staff member. The other staff member indicated he'd check in the kitchen, but didn't take the steak back, leaving us confused about what he was going to check. He failed to get back to us. Generally the... More

We had a three course meal and each meal was superb!...The sole, fillet and creme brulee are the best we have ever had. The waiter was brilliant and reallt added to the evening. It may be on the pricey side but so worth it! Highly recommend a meal here while in Plett.

The Lemon Grass was our very first Plettenberg Bay experience upon arrival, and I must state unequivocally that it set the bar very high. Firstly the view reveals both Lookout Beach and the river's inlet to the ocean. Dogs and people walk the beach and play with great gusto-great fun to watch. The welcome at the door was very warm... Good food in a modern restaurant with great views of the sea. Staff were attentive and seemed pleased to serve us despite a birthday function in the main part of the restaurant

The BEST tuna steak ever! So good I had it twice! Once for lunch and then on another day, for dinner! Also good curry and excellent sole. My husband loved the mashed potato! Service was good and staff very pleasant and helpful. We had a power outage one evening but the restaurant and staff were well prepared with many candles... More
