I must have been unlucky...first of all I was seated out on the deck which was too windy, but told all tables inside were booked...then the Thai green curry I ordered came and was really very ordinary and seemed to have been reheated...rice was sticky and definitely had been microwaved...service was poor and bill was hefty...I would not visit again.... While staying at Milkwood Manor we decided to try this restaurant for dinner on the first night. It was so good we seriously thought about going back the second night. We tried somewhere else only because we were touring and wanted different experiences. But this place had great choice of food and wines. All cooked to perfection and had really... More

As we were once again staying at the Milkwood Manor we decided to eat at the Lemon Grass on both nights that we were there. The food is excellent, there is a good variety from which to choose, and the whole restaurant has a great ambience. Dion especially was very helpful, being both professional and friendly.

This was recommended to us by the manager of the wonderful The Girls Restaurant, wilderness. We went for dinner but as it was dark we couldn't appreciate the wonderful view. However that don not detract from the excellent food on offer. The calamari tubes in lemon sauce was superb as wax the trio of meats all served by helpful members... More

We were recommended to this restaurant by a man we met in swellendam & it was all he said it would be. Our waiter Julian was very informative about the whole area and the service and food was excellent. A great prawn cocktail (always a winner in my book) Lovely location Hope to return one day

Kay and I had an impromptu lunch here yesterday. Kay's salad was good, my Kingclip line fish was outstanding, just a bit let down by some rather banal boiled vegetables, though the rosti potatoes were excellent. We chatted to two other groups of diners, so even though it wasn't busy there was a good friendly atmosphere. The view over the... More

Decent enough food at a premium price but do make sure your bill is correct before you pay it. A poorish location with a view out to a brackish little lagoon.

We had luch yesterday at Lemongrass. Beautiful setting overlooking the lagoon. We both had the calamari strips, which is really the best in town! We also shared a chocolate volcano, absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked! Well done chef Elton!
