Superb slowcooked in red wine lambshank & mash with veggies & homemade German mustard. No artificial ingedients. Beautiful setting on Lookout Beach and lagoon. Best meal in Plettenberg Bay.

We visited this restaurant twice when we were in Plettenberg Ba. The first time we stopped in the afternoon as we wanted a glass of wine after a long day. Although the restaurant was not officially open, they welcomed us in and we were able to sit out on the terrace with wonderful views over the bay. They served the... More

We both ordered the bacon and avocado salad. The restaurant was not busy and the salad arrived in no time. It was lightly dressed and piled with bacon. Service was very attentive without being overbearing. The views from outside deck were spectacular. Definitely worth another visit

We ended our honeymoon week but dining at Lemon Grass. The cocktails was good as well as the food! We had the stuffed mushroom for starters.. the duck for mains and the creme brulee and cheesecake for desserts. Although the food and drinks were really good we felt that the prices were a bit extreme. Still went out with a... More

We hoped that The Lemon Grass would live up to its unique location. The food was not up to the standard of other better value restaurants we have eaten in SA during our holiday here. The Singapore prawns were tasteless, there was only five of them of which three were actually edible (and the restaurant is a hop to the... More

We arrived starving and left bursting at the seems. Divine food, at home atmosphere, classic music in the background. The waiter was really good and knew his menu. Friendly people and welcoming you.

Don't be fooled by the name this is not an Asian restaurant. However, it is very good and well worth the visit. We had lunch here on our first day in Plett. It is beautifully located overlooking the lagoon, dune and hills on the East side of Plett. Both my lamb curry and my wife's linefish of the day were... More

We were staying at the adjoining hotel and we were not sure that the food could match the view out of the windows over looking the bay and we were wrong. The food here is excellent, there is a relaxed atmosphere with a sophisticated menu to suite most tastes. Being by the cost there was a good seafood selection, some... More
