It was just okay, nothing great. Plain food, nothing fancy. Offered both American and Mexican. Service was okay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, The staff was great. They have a restaurant on site and a very nice gift shop. Our room was wonderful. It was dated but that's ok. It is a older building with lots of history. The entry is beautiful.

My husband and I went to the restaurant that some of the locals go to on Sunday and we both had the special. The food was promptly provided to us after we ordered, the chips and hot sauce placed on our table with our drinks (water) (and the water was needed) the hot sauce was good and SPICY. Food was... Recommended by a local, we are so glad we went. We were seated immediately and then asked to be moved as we were right under the AC unit. No problem at all. Drinks came quickly although the second round was a little slow. By that time the restaurant was full and the servers were running. We had combo fajitas which... More

We had a party of 12 that was able to walk right in and find a seat. There were only 3 or 4 other tables of people in the restaurant. A waitress gave us menu's and then disappeared. 20 minutes later no one had taken our order, no drinks, no chips and salsa, nothing. We walked out! They lost out... More

Was recommended this restaurant by locals who like to go there for the Mexican food. Seating and service was fast. Easy and enjoyable experience.

Recommended by a local when we stopped at the Safeway store. Excellent food. Late lunch and the place was still packed! Enjoyed enchiladas with sides and was not disappointed.

I was originally worried after reading some of the reviews. But shouldn't have been. One of the better red chicken Enchaladas I have had, right down to the tortillas used. Rice and beans kinda generic, but that's the same anywhere I have been. Decided to try it after a local kept raving about it. Was pleasantly surprised that the dinner... More

After driving all day and touring the Petrified Forest, we were tired and hungry. We chose El Rancho after a brief drive around town in the dark, being attracted by the cars in the parking lot and what we could see through the windows. There are several seating areas with varying types of lighting and seating, so you can choose... More

The salsa was great. Been a long time since I had salsa that made my nose run. The service sucked and I have definitely seen cleaner restaurants. They do have a large parking area. And a fairly nice gift shop. The waitress was nice, but I didn't see her nearly enough. Would probably go back just for the food and... More
