Seemed like the only place in town to go to for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Very welcoming owners greeted us, and we had a great time hearing stories about the old town, before the interstate came through.

Not very busy during the tail end of the season. Stopped in for fry bread-had the first/best Navajo taco! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful to provide recommendations for visiting the Petrified Forest.

We went here on the basis of the reviews and it didn't disappoint: a quirky, old-school diner, with great service, lovely food and excellent value for money. Loved it, and the Navajo tacos and sopapillas were particularly good.

Holbrook offers two "ampersand" cafes, "Joe & Aggie's" and "Tom & Suzie's." I couldn't recall which I'd visited on a second trip to Holbrook. So I stepped into the latter, which had relocated & was now conveniently near my motel. I did not care for the atmosphere. It felt big, impersonal, touristy, harried. And pricey. It didn't feel warm, inviting... More

Having a bad experience across street we came over to eat. Road trip with mom and aunts and were we starving. It was very friendly enviroment. And the food was amazing. Also that the cars movie was based off owners of joe and aggies was a great tale with pictures. Will definately go there again and recommend them.

We stumbled onto this by chance. It looked so shabby I hesitated to even go in. I checked trip advisor in the parking lot and we gave it a try. The place is shabby and in need of cleaning and repair. Classic? I guess that's a matter of opinion. We did take a few photos of the exterior and it... More

Started in 1943, this place is still going strong. The people could not be any friendlier. Food is awesome. I got the 3 stack pancakes for $4.95 these were so fluffy almost like eating cake. Hubby got an omelette for $7.49 which was big and plentiful. A big thumbs up on eating here!

I've seen cleaner diners, I seen better menus, but this is Joe & Aggie's Cafe! one of the inspirations for the movie "Cars" We shared a fruit burrito which was fantastic and i enjoyed my coffee. If we're back in Holbrook, we'll be back.

We went to dinner here based on TripAdvisor reviews. First, I'll say that the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food, however, was average at best. We started with chips and hot sauce. There was no option besides hot. I do not do hot, so I figured I would just enjoy the chips. Worst I've ever had. Tasted like... More

Ariel was our waitress, and besides being an excellent server, was most knowledgable about the restaurant and the area. This is a tiny place, but serves the same menu created at its origination - a LONG time ago. The food was great: simple Mexican cuisine and as spicy as anyone could want (or not spicy if so preferred).

Thank Peter J
