Joe and Aggie's has been serving the best authentic Mexican food at its Route 66 location for generations. This is the real deal in every sense of the description.

Wasn't impressed. My chicken Navajo Taco was tasteless. My husband's beef was better, I think. Bread, unseasoned chicken, beans, lettuce, cheese, nothing tasty there. We don't know how other entrees would b. They don't serve fajitas.

This is a dumpy old place, and when you find one of the these the food is either awful or fantastic! This is one of those rare fantastic ones! I recommend the combo plate with the green chilies. And fluffy Sopapillas that almost floated off of the plate! And the tacos were done to perfection.

Stopped here for dinner after a day in the Petrified Forest National Park. We enjoyed the flat enchiladas with an egg. Our waitress told us of the connection between the movie Cars and Joe and Aggie's. Check out the Cars memorabilia. Back to the food, it was delicious. Be sure to get a sample of the red and green sauce... More

During our trip along Route 66 this past few weeks we found this delightful quaint eatery that is easy to miss if you aren't careful. My wife and I had the fajitas and enchiladas. They were out of this world delicious and true authentic Mexican quisine. The waitress was extremely friendly and in our conversations we found that one of... More

Hands down the best green chili I have ever had! I had the chili about 6 years ago and hoped with all hope it would be the just as good as it was then. This time it was even better. Service is great and the restaurant is full of RT66 history. The owners are so fun to talk with and... More

Food was excellent, and staff was super friendly and nice. Bonus was that they had memorabilia from the Cars movie and autographed photos by John Lassiter! Most definitely a recommended stop!

The cafe had a lot of character, attentive staff and excellent food. It was convenient and close to some spots on Route 66 to take photos, such as the Wigwam Motel.
