Neighborhood burger bar.

We stopped in for a quick beverage. Liked the atmosphere. Hadn't planned to eat but decided to share a hand battered fish and chips. Pleasantly surprised. Homemade fries and nice fish. Burgers looked good. Will be back to try one? Did not see ground turkey or chicken burger unfortunately. Wouldn't... read more

Went with friends after a hunt. Great fried food and Burgers. Nice drinks and great prices. By no means fine dining but perfect for what it is.

WE have stopped in at the Red Onion numerous times on our way to Phoenix and it's always a fun local place to stop for a good meal. This time out was also great and always fun to watch the people and have a conversation with the wait staff who "takes care of ya!" Plenty of tv screens to watch... More

The restaurant is very small town comfortable, no thrills but wonderful shaved prime rib sandwiches. The wait staff works as a team to provide a good service experience. The condiments arrive in an orange bucket so all your needs are met. The beer is cold and French fries are fresh cut. Leave your big city attitude at the door and... More

The Red Onion is a "diamond in the rough" to say the least. Highly recommend the flat-iron steak and shrimp meal. It was delicious. The wait staff is extremely friendly and eager to please. The atmosphere is interesting and an enjoyable spot to visit.

Best Friday Fish dinner with Salad Bar. Can't go wrong with the sandwiches. The ambiance is very colorful and the staff is friendly.

The Red Onion is an old, established restaurant in Heber/Overgaard. If you are in the mood for a "down home" country experience, The Red Onion is for you. It is a 'no frills" bar/restaurant that puts out a great hamburger and fries, along with a really delicious Chicken sandwich.

Wanted this to be good! Had heard you've got go get there burger. Just not that good. Fries were soggy, limp, oil soaked "noodles". Yuk. Also had the bacon-cheeseburger. It was just okay. Generous portions, generous toppings. This was my second visit, each visit similar.

Stopped in for dinner while on vacation in Arizona, big mistake. There is not a lot to choose from in Heber-Overgaard for dining options and I thought a good burger joint would be nice. I was wrong. We were not greeted when we arrived and instructed by sign to seat ourselves. We had kids with us so sitting in the... More

Stopped here on the way to Pinetop, fun was good, staff was friendly and the place was clean, would like to see the nite life as it was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
