We have ordered from Yan's for over 8 months, at least once or twice per month and quite often a variety of meals. Due to the Covid and restrictions' placed on restaurants, they can provide take out only, no inside seating and no delivery. You pay at the window and receive your food then. If you give them at least a 15-20 minute time before arrival it will be bagged and waiting at the window. Very rarely will you have to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes. The food has always been hot and fresh with large portions. Taste has been very good, especially since this is a 'fast take-out' food and not a formal restaurant. The closed dining area appears to be kept clean and ready for business once they are allowed to reopen the area.

The food is good. But I prefer the Yan’s on Thomas Road and 91st Avenue in Phoenix. The Cucumber salad is amazing. Food is good for the price. My kids ate the Teriyaki like a pig. Lol. Her joke. We also had the orange chicken. Would visit again. I am not lying when I say it’s better the PF Chang’s!

For once, in a Chinese restaurant, we got our food spiced perfectly. If you order something spicy, it is supposed to be without having to add extra peppers. This was perfect. The lunch special is competitively priced and you get a spring roll and soup with your entree for one price. The atmosphere is nothing special but that's ok when the food is so good.

Normally the food is spot on, but today, the oil tasted old for the orange and General Tso Chicken. The BBQ Ribs were watery instead of saucy. I don't know...we just tossed the food. I will chalk it up as a bad cooking day. We're not jerks to give a 1 because effort was given, but a 3 for a heads up to do better.

I do not write reviews; this is a first. Yan's serves made to order Chinese food. The price is competitive; The ingredients fresh, of excellent quality and abundant in the serving portion. The premises are well organized and clean, if not 'atmospheric'. But then again, I went for the food, and it was excellent. It was not your run-of-the-mill 'Super Buffet'; instead, it was the real thing.A small restaurant operated by people committed to delivering a quality product that they themselves would eat. I've seen them do it. Try it; you'll like it.. .

Always looking for good Chinese Food, but you won't find it here. The food was so awful I can't even begin to describe it. The only thing about the orange chicken was it was orange. The general tso chicken was even worse. The low mein noodles were greasy and had no taste. So don't waste your time or money. Panda Express is even better and that not saying much if you're looking for real Chinese Food

I had been wanting Chinese food for some time after moving from the Midwest and a friend recommended this place. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and i will say the plate was piled very hight but i didn't care for the taste of the food at all. I called my friend and asked her If i could drop it off at her place so that it wouldn't go to waste. It just wasn't what i was used to flavor-wise. No intentions on returning.

Yan's food is not that great it's greasy and reminds me of quick take out like Panda express where everything is cooked ahead of time. Kinda bland compared to Wok Wei right across the street who's food is 10 times better, twice the food for your money and cooked fresh to order and Wok Wei has better lunch specials. They also have booths for sit down dining verse's Yan's cheap little tables.

Hubby and I stopped after work... We didn't pre-order as it was our first time here. We ordered the sweet n sour chicken and the beef chow mein. I went here after reading other reviews. It was average. I wasn't blown away and it didn't stand out. They were a little slow took almost 45 minutes and when it was ready the lady working kept calling me sir... I am a woman...it wasn't once it was 4 times... So a little annoyed. I will try it again maybe it was an off night or maybe I was a little miffed that she called me sir.

Went here a couple of times but have since found places better priced with better food. Plus we called in a takeout order that they did not start making until we showed up and paid for first. The idea of takeout food is that it is ready to go when you come to pick it up.

Yan's has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for the past five years. We love their Kung Pao Chicken, which has a nice kick without being too hot. Nobody else makes it quite like them and it is amazing. Best item on the menu. We also enjoy their Mongolian Beef, which is sweet and delicious (not spicy). Our children enjoy the Cashew Chicken and Beef and Green Beans too, which are not spicy. Last but not least, the fried rice and crab puffs are very good.

Our 6 and 8 year old love the Terriaki Chicken, Honey Chicken, Orange Chicken, and the Crab Ragoon. But that's not all: they're always tasting ours and wanting more than one bite. Our son (8) likes to say, "oh that's amazing! I might order that next time." The price to portion ratio is incredible: for the four of us we order one appetizer, one side of like lo mein or fried rice and two entrees, that's it. We're stuffed by the time we're finished and sometimes there's leftovers. My one complaint is when we get the take out. They use these black plastic ♻️ containers which would be great if the food was not piping hot ♨️ the minute goes in. But it is. And in fact SO HOT that the toxins COULD not only be smelled⁉️but tasted too. My daughter (6) and I even noticed our burps afterward ⚠️ TASTING like plastic. Now tell me how that's good for you. So once that happened I called, talked to someone "in charge" about the incident, she apologized and offered to replace our order using paper instead. I let her know we were finished eating, said, "no thank you" and that was that. So, when ordering TAKE OUT ask for "rice boxes" (made of a paper product) instead. We've done that already since the "Toxin Trouble" incident and ... WHA LA ... problem solved. 💯 I want to emphasize: Yan's FOOD is awesome, so good for you, not to mention tastes "out of this world". Just ask for PAPER rice boxes when ordering take out,🆗. Plastic toxins: not so good‼️ Atmosphere ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Friendliness ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Prompt and Hot ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ We love dining in when we have the time, but now we also enjoy Yan's at home 🈯️

If you are looking for a good meal try this place. your food will be cooked to order. I had the garlic chicken. It was seasoned just right. The fried rice that came along with it was very good and also the hot and sour soup. I recommend this place.
