Nice popular place. Service is good and food is great. The breakfasts choices are numerous and the biscuits are huge. Other daily specials are worth a try.

So for a Thursday night, we got to one of our local favorites. It was a constant flow of people, but I wouldn't say busy. We ended up waiting about 10 minutes to be seated which was odd for a Thursday. The food was okay tonight, but something seemed off, not really sure.

My son and I had breakfast here. They were busy but the service was good and fast. The chicken fried steak and eggs were very good. My son loved the OJ and he liked the pancakes and bacon. Worth a return trip.

Seated right away and server was right there for drink order. Service was good overall. Clam chowder was hot and tasty. Good choice. Pot roast was flavorful but not hot. Just warm and mashed potatoes were only warm due to the gravy. Needed to be heated. Green beans were flavorful and hot. Corn bread biscuit was hot and came with... More

If you like bears, you'll love the motif, bears everywhere. The breakfast food was excellent. It compares well to any diner in New Jersey. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Food was delicious. BIG portions. Bring your appetite. Nice "kitschy" atmosphere. Recommend this for all. Friendly, efficient service.

Chicken meal was good but the hamburger was over cooked to a point to no taste. I did not say anything. All else was nice and service was great.

Second time here for breakfast. Food is excellent. Lots of choices and good sized servings. Our server was excellent. Very attentive. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

I don't usually review chains, but we don't have Black Bear Diners close to us, so it's a treat to stop by. The decor is woodsy, and comfortable. Good selections and they serve breakfast and lunch all day. On this trip, I ordered the "small bite" patty melt and chips with side salad. They make their ranch and blue cheese... More

Have eaten at many Black Bears, from Oregon to CA to NV to AZ. Most have met the acceptable level. There's nothing fancy about this BB but if you want a decent meal at an acceptable price, this is the place.
