Found this little gem while in Glendale for work. I had the Turkey, basil, tomato, mozzarella on ciabatta with a vinaigrette dressing yesterday and today I'm having the Turkey, ham & bacon on ciabatta. Both are amazing! The couple who owns it is from Poland and are very friendly. I highly recommend trying this place out. They had me try... More

Had a wonderful evening at this Polish Restaurant in Glendale, Arizona. It was very tasty and just like Poland. I have been here before and could not wait to return. Just as great or better than last time. Had a Polish friend along and she also enjoyed everything that she ordered.

Went in search of good Polish food in the area and found this great café. Have eaten there twice and both times, everything was wonderful. From pierogis to kielbasa to hunter stew; all were authentic and perfectly done. Has a nice outdoor seating area, and sits on a quiet street in historic area of Glendale. Highly recommend a visit.

Met friends there after searching for a venue that would provide us here in AZ, an experience similar to several of those we encountered while traveling in Europe. The atmosphere was definitely reminiscent of our experiences in a number of small, out-of-the-way places we visited in Germany, Switzerland, Austria. The food is excellent. Customers are treated like small-town neighbors. Since... More

My wife and I were on a snowbird experiment and found this little gem. We dined here about six times and enjoyed every meal. We even brought others here, and they all loved the meals. The restaurant has a simple menu, but don't let that fool you. You will NOT leave hungry. Portions are ample; I suggest two people share... More

I was at The Occasional Artist for a class. We all decided to have a "working" lunch so as not to lose class time. The owner said the food next door was good and that they would deliver to us when the order was ready. What more could one ask? Well...not only was it convenient; it was delicious. And with... More

This place was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The platter was a good sampling of their offerings. As we were from out of town, it would have been good to know that it was a BYOB restaurant. It would not have changed our plans in this instance, but if we went for dinner it would have been... I wanted to try this place after I saw a segment about it on TV. I was not disappointed! Growing up in near Milwaukee, WI in a family with Polish and German heritage, I try to find places that remind of this cuisine. I tried the Pierogi Combo plate that offered 6 delicious potato and cheese pierogies with a good... More

Unique small restaurant In old town historic section of Glendale. Definitely worth visiting for lunch or dinner. Owners are personable and service good. Selection of Polish, German, American cuisine. Had the pierogi appetizer plate, which we liked a lot. My wife had beef stroganoff special (which she thought was very good) and I had the pork goulash (good but not... More

Although this restaurant is best known for its polish food, they also have wonderful sandwiches and soup. It's a great place to stop for lunch. The owner is always there and recognizes returning customers. My favorite - egg salad on ciabatta bread.
