The service was fast and friendly and the food was outstanding. We tried the oven baked pancakes which were Delicious and unique. The plain old buttermilk were perfect as well

Have eaten at Flapjacks many times and have always had good healthy meals. A small restaurant that can be very busy especially on weekends but the wait is worthwhile. Have always been happy that we went there and no matter who we take with us to try them out they think food is great and friendly service.

FLAPJACKS is my wife's favorite spot in town for breakfast. Great selections on the menu, fine service and usually full house. Parking is plentiful. On Sundays there are f snowbirds who flock to the place after church. They have a clipboard outside for reservations. They make a very special egg dish.

Hidden treasure - a must for breakfast in Fountain Hills. Located just off a main thoroughfare at the end of a strip mall. Eat inside or out but get there early on the weekend. We got there at 8:00 am on a Sunday and were able to get a seat right away but by 8:30, the place was getting crowded.... More

Having eaten breakfast at Starbucks FH we thought we'd give Flapjacks a try especially after reading the reviews of TripAdvisor. In England we rarely eat pancakes for breakfast and the only reason I have given three stars is that the alternatives were expensive and the fruit portions particularly were small ($3-$4 for one or two grapes, a couple of blackberries,... After reading the reviews we made this a must visit on our trip to Fountain Hills. We arrived around 8am (on a Wednesday) and the place was already getting busy with locals. I ordered the Oven-baked Nutty Apple Pancake (excellent), scrambled eggs (good). My boy friend got the Flap Jacks Combo - what a disaster! the eggs were undercooked (and... More

You have to try the German pancakes! My favorite is the nut and apple but they're all delicious! The new owners have kept the recipes and the best of the original Flapjacks so you can't go wrong. Just keep in mind that, especially on Sunday after church, you may have to wait a bit for a table. They're generally busy... More

On a month long visit to the national parks and it was sometimes difficult to find an interesting place for breakfast. This was so good - no franchise taste here. I ordered a pancake with strawberries and bananas and it barely needed syrup. The omelete ordered by partner got a smile! Service was great, food was good and place was... More

We were quite disappointed. Arrived and were seated immediately which was nice but that all I can say was nice about my experience. We felt extremely rushed by our waitress who rattled off questions to complete our order. She seemed more interested in who just walked in the door. Order scrambled eggs with rosemary potatoes and sour dough toast. The... More

What sounds more delicious than a nutty apple backed pancake? It was so good and priced just right. We went before 9 and did not have to wait for a table.
