Really great tortas and salsa bar. We ate here twice while we were in the area. The ambience is minimal but the friendliness of the staff and the food make up for any lack in the decor department. All the food was good but we returned for the tortas.

When in Cottonwood the Verde Lea is pretty much the only place I eat, the place never disappoints. On this trip I ate here a total of 3 times, starting with the Indian fry bread taco. It was killer, all made fresh and filling too. To mix it up and live on the edge, I had a side of French... More

Delicious food, great hand cut fries, can't wait to go back. The torta was to die for. The owner was super friendly, pleased to meet him.

Went in based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Torts were good, green salsa was fantastic, fries were tasty, made to order. A unique place, will be back.

Wow this place is amazing! I heard about the tortas and I am so glad I stopped for one. I believe I was helped by the owner and he was very welcoming and helped me pick what to have. I had a carne asada with avocado and jalapeño. Amazing flavor combination. I will definitely be back as the service and... More

I've been coming to Cottonwood for years and never had the chance to visit, had I'd known what I was missing out on, I would've made a visit sooner. Was in the mood for a good burger. So, I asked Becky at the front desk at the Little Daisy Inn, the only motel I stay at when visiting Cottonwood/Sedona area.... More

We've been driving past this place every time we come to Cottonwood without hardly noticing it. We only learned of it through trip advisor. We (and half of Cottonwood ) came in at lunch time and had super good sandwiches. I enjoyed mine so much I ordered a second one to go. The second sandwich was later heated up for... More

Ive been going to VL since it opened and through two owners and its always consistent.Great subs, large portions,m killer burgers for a good price and a very friendly staff.I prefer family owned to chains and these folks are an example why. They actually deserve 3.5 stars.

Kind of a hole in the wall but great tortas. I like the chicken one. Hubby likes beef. Go off your diet to try their torta. It's worth it. Busy at lunch. Tables inside & out.

Third time for us. We love love love this place. I love the carne asada torta. The bread is just delicious. We all veered from our diet and ate the bread. They have a lot of choices but we always get the torta. Unique place!
