Stopped here twice while camping at Dead Horse Ranch. Very good each time. Loved the Cisco burger. Staff was always busy, if they weren’t cooking they were cleaning. Place reminded me of deli’s you would find in New Orleans.

Was recommended this place by a local. Food was so good! I got tacos and my husband got a sub sandwich. Everyone was welcoming ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on the way to Clarkdale. I ordered the shredded beef burrito which was outstanding. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich. He liked his as well but liked mine a little more. It is a store as well...so we got two glasses of ice and a gallon of water too. The whole bill was less than $15. A great deal!More

Premade unimaginative deli and salad, no ambience; couple of drunk old guys wandering around mid-afternoon. Soggy zucchini fries. None of the ingredients or flavors were great quality. There are a lot of better restaurants in this price point in the area.

My wife and I arrived around 5pm. There were a couple of people getting carryout food, and we were the only inside diners. I ordered the 1/2lb cheeseburger, with everything. And fries. My burger was awesome! Plenty of toppings, and with that came a bit...of a mess. But it was worth it. And the fries were very tasty. I would love to visit here again.More

Longtime customer especially for the subs but recently had gone to multi grain/wheat bread due to type 2 diabetes. At first no problem, but cook/manager gave push back because the pre-made subs were on white sub roll and extra work was required to put on...whole grain bread. Totally silly as even sub way offers choice of breads. They do not promote healthy or make simple changes for older customers with diabetes. Likely will not be back. Fortunately there are other sub sandwich choices in Cottonwood. My advice, fire the manager.More

Our side by side broke down and we ended up in Cottonwood, hungry. Couldn’t find parking, except in front of this restaurant. Mgr or owner greeted us and advised of locals favorites on the menu. The menu was varied, but the Mexican food was authentic...and very very good. My husband and I would drive back from E Mesa just to eat here. Once our ride is fixed, we are planning another trip and will definitely eat here again. Great food, good portions and awesome service. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. PS... the bathroom was very clean as well. 10 out of 10!!More

Just needed a basic ham & cheese on rye and this place delivered. Super fresh marble rye bread, generous portion of ham and swiss cheese with mayo & mustard. Bread is always key. Hubby had Asian salad with chicken. Lettuce was crisp and fresh, dressing...had great flavor. Don’t pass up the yummy cookies!More

We had been hearing good things about this place but hadn't managed a visit yet. Well today was the day and we were very happy with our choices! My husband had the BBQ burger which was loaded with stuff and included a slightly still pink...burger which he loves. I had the carne asada quesadilla which was huge and buttery, yum! Next time will be sooner than later and we can't wait to explore the menu more!More

Have been here many, many times over the years, Bill and all of his staff are super friendly, and the tortas and fries can't be beat. I like both the beef and pork (carnitas) tortas, and the fries remind me of those on the boardwalk...back in Ocean City, Md. So don't pay any attention to the look of the place (c-market, basically), just try it and you will be hooked.More

It’s a dive and it’s very good. The torta lives up to its reputation. Do not expect anything fancy like downtown Cottonwood. The number of locals eating here should tell you everything you need to know.

Outstanding little dive for food. The Torta is out of this world. Great carne asada but it’s the bread that makes it. We ordered two to go to eat on our plane ride home. Really good horchata and other items also. The owner is fun...with personality to spare. We will stop back every time we make it to AZ. No doubt about it.More

Assume that New York’s best deli decided to go on a Mexican vacation. It learned dozens of new recipes and came back changed. That’s what you experience at Verde Lea Market. The Reuben is top notch, but dive in with the Torta, a steak sandwich...that includes avocado, peppers and, yes, refried beans. You’ll never think about a delicatessen in the same way. You realize a deli can be so much more. The Verde Lea is that deli.More

Yes, but not like a restaurant. It's about 6 or 8 little picnic tables in the middle of a small grocery store.
