This bistro is only 10 to 15 minutes from Sedona and is as good as any of the highly rated Sedona eateries. The flank steak and polenta with veggies were cooked just right. Started the meal with onions rings with great sauces and finished with a peach crisp. Under new management. Very attentive waitress.

While visiting friends in Sedona, we took a day trip to the wine area. It was lunch time so we stopped at Up The Creek. What a pleasant surprise. The service was quick and very pleasant. The setting overlooks the river and it is most relaxing. I had the Chicken Verde Sandwich. Incredible. This was without question one of the... More

We had the brussel sprouts appetizer - WOW! The serving was generous, and the almonds, slivered parmesan and balsamic reduction really made the dish. Prices are not cheap but are good value. I had mango fish tacos - the fish melted in my mouth, and the toppings were good. Did I mention the drinks are generous too? This chef knows... More

-> who found Up the Creek a delightful restaurant. As some have noted; the exterior seems to promise only a run-down, ramshackle general store; but the interior augers a much better experience. And the food lives up to all you might desire. Up the Creek is on a tree shaded bluff about 30 feet above Oak Creek. We dined at... More

Just came from Up the Creek . I was there with good friends and my husband for a nice evening meal. It's a quaint little restaurant near Sedona, Az that is right along the Oak Creek. It sits on a hill looking down on the river with big trees, etc. making a beautiful setting. Meals are good and tastefully served.... More

We were invited to have dinner at Up The Creek.. I had the filet , it couldn't have been more tender. We sat by the window over looking the creek, a lovely view! If you happen to find yourself visiting Page Springs Cellars and want a nice meal.... This is a great choice!

Great food/atmosphere. On the pricier side but good for special occasions. Loved watching the hummingbirds outside the window!

Along an historic highway towards Wine Country you'll step back into how the west once was. There's nothing else like it as you dine in one of the most unique restaurants in Arizona! You'll be impressed with the rustic and authentic cowboy eatery. Enjoy fine steaks & seafood in the lush tree tops & large creek-side setting while watching the wildlife below. Eagles call this home, while the beavers build and the otters frolic. Find herons, wood ducks, turtles and others scouting out where they too find some of the best food in these here parts. Fine dining in a historic, but casual atmosphere. Join us for one of the best culinary experiences around. Freshly prepared and made to order Angus, Dry-Aged & organic grass-fed meats, homemade soups and desserts. Want the best; then come out West and see what all the locals are talking about. Full bar & fine local and international wines.
