Freeway close pho near Mesa airport. Just 1 mile off 202. Pho #6 had savory broth that was fresh, not greasy. Beefy brisket and lean round steak with a lot of very fresh basil and other pho fixings. Husband's vermicelli came with terrific grilled chicken and flavor-packed egg roll. Atmosphere is like a nice bar and grill. Beautiful photos of Vietnam adorn the walls. Would definitely come here again!

I've been coming here quite a bit lately, because I live so close to this location, as I've said in past reviews, "it's my go to place for Pho when I want to stay local. I have a friend who is not a fan of Pho, who never wanted to go with me. Finally after much persuasion that there was other choice items on the menu, he finally ventured to come with me. Lunchtime, always busy and plenty of seating. Service is always friendly and very attentive. I ordered my regular Steak and Tripe Pho with an appetizer of Fried Spring Rolls. The Pho is sometimes better than other visits, but it is always hot and fresh. My friend ordered the Stir Fried Shrimp in Lemongrass Sauce served with Rice and salad. He LOVED it! Since then we've been back again and he ordered the Stir Fired Chicken in Lemongrass Sauce. Atmosphere: open, plenty of seating. Food: good. Service: very good.

Really enjoying pho here. It’s the bes I have ever had and I’ve tried many. It’s a little warm in here and usually drink refills only happen if you flag down the waiter but wonderful food and happy workers!

I don’t know yet about their offerings in other Vietnamese dishes on the menu, but when it comes to Phở, no, not even close! I can’t understand why Phở is in their name. I don’t know where their recipes, preparations or ingredients, or what regions, or how they’ve come about for their Phở has come from and how they prepare it, but this is not Phở or even close to being what I’ve come to value as a ‘legitimate’ Phở. I love Phở… I’ve loved it, and appreciated it for many, many, many years, and this Phở does not come close to any Phở, from any Vietnamese region I’ve experienced ever, ever, anywhere across the country. It kind of feels like its mass produced, the broth not at all traditionally flavorful, they use dry and flavorless meats, and ingredients/addons are skimpy, don’t seem very fresh. Sorry, I don’t think anyone who appreciates Phở and respects it will appreciate a real Phở meal at AZ Phở & Grill! It’s a matter of respect for a cherished Vietnamese mainstay. I recently had the mis opportunity of having both their Steak Phở and their Phở Tai Nam (my fave) – not! As for the rest of their meals, caveat emptor! I don’t pretend to know. By the way, their website doesn’t even spell Phở correctly! I am very sorry, I repeated myself a bit, but it’s for a passionate reason!

The owner Tony very pleasant and always friendly. IMO one of the best spring rolls, and Pho in Gilbert. Anyone who comes here will not be disappointed. Their Vermicelli plates are exceptional as well.

My wife took me to AZ Pho & Grill this week. I enjoy good Vietnamese food and this hits the spot. We had shrimp Spring rolls, stir-fry seafood with the crispy egg noodles (It looks like a bird nest!) and the chicken pho. Everything was fresh and tasted great. My wife even went back the next day while in the area! Good stuff and good service.

This place is my go to place when I'm meeting friends and don't want to drive far... just around the corner for me. I always come for lunch, service has always been amazing. Food (Pho dishes and appetizers) have always been very good. I'm a creature of habit, pretty much order the same dishes. This time: Spicy Hue Style Beef Noodle Soup. I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp. Noodle Soup was excellent, as always and Coconut Shrimp was good, though I wouldn't get again. I like the other appetizer choices better that I've had in the past. Atmosphere: nice, Service: excellent (lunch), Food: very good

We had a late lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We had to wait quite a while to be served and they weren't that busy. The quality of their food was okay, but not great.

AZ Pho has very comfortable family dining. The service has always been great and the food consistently good. For our latest dinner appetizer there my wife and split the A1 -AZ Pho & Grill's Sampler which has two egg rolls, four spring rolls, and two coconut shrimp with fish sauce, peanut sauce, and sweet chili sauce. I cannot get enough of the sweet chili sauce. For my main I enjoyed the N4 - Spicy Hue Style Beef Noodle Soup while my wife had the P9 -Chicken Breast Pho. The both for the beef noodle has a deep savory flavor which I cannot get enough of. The best thing about dinner at AZ Pho is that there are always left overs and as my wife does not eat leftovers I get a couple of very delicious lunches out of dinner.

Extremely clean and open restaurant with individually prepared meals. The pho dishes are numerous and tasty. The staff is pleasant and quick. The meals are light on the digestion; no heavily spiced dishes. You leave satisfied but not distraught from a heavy meal

Excellent lunch again all around atmosphere, service and food. I met 2 of my friends for lunch. Nice selection of beers, i had the Lagunitas IPA. We start off with appetizers. Always reordering one of our favorites the (A11) Grilled beef Rolls along with trying the (A2) Fried Egg Rolls and (A12) Tamarind Wings. Funny thing is we all wanted to try a different noodle soup from our traditional Pho, so we all each ordered the (N4) Spicy Hue Style Beef Noodle Soup and of course for an added $, I add Tripe to mine. All the dishes came out in a timely fashion. Service was excellent, always checking up on us. Food was excellent! Being so convenient a location for me, this is my go-to Pho craving satisfaction.

We called ahead as a party of 14 and were told we could be seated at 6:30p. We arrived at 630p on a Friday night and....our table was ready!!! Off to a great start! This location is bright, clean and well designed. A full bar offers seating as well as small tables for couples and smaller groups. Many in our party had never tried Pho while others were well schooled in authentic Pho and other Vietnamese dining. We had a wonderful server that worked with other servers to ensure all diners had everything they needed. No pressure to order, with great explanations of the menu for those that had questions or dietary restrictions. The entire staff was friendly and really seemed happy to ensure a great dining experience for all of us. Many servers arrived carrying our meals so we were all served at the same time. This is a difficult task for many restaurants to perform successfully with such a large party. Not for this staff, they handled the process with precision that left our group impressed and happy. The food can only be described by all as "outstanding". This was an excellent choice for us and I would highly recommend this location to all. Our group was from 81 years old to 10 years old and everyone enjoyed the meal.

Last time I was here was when it first opened in 2014, unfortunately I was not impressed. My friend was here recently and said it was amazing, must have changed hands or chefs because it was AMAZING! I came here with 2 other friends for a 12:30 Thursday lunch. It was pleasantly filled with diners. Service was excellent. We ordered appetizers of (A4) Shrimp Spring Rolls and (A11) Grilled Beef Rolls to Share. Entrees were (P5) Steak and Flank Pho with a side of Tripe to add$, (P9) Chicken Breast Pho, (V2) Grilled Pork Platter. All the dishes came our piping hot and filled with goodies, no skimping on meats or vegetables here. Tasted fantastic. The beef Rolls were Excellent. Atmosphere: nice, Service: excellent, Food: very good! Ill be back for sure!

This place has the best Pho in town. I’ve tried the veggie & oxtail pho. It’s the best especially when your sick. Best soup to sooth the tummy or Amy cold symptoms. The employees are very nice and remember you .

Nice restaurant with a good selection of Vietnamese dishes. The soups are served with the traditional garnishes of lime, basil & bean sprout. Both the beef & tofu (for you vegetarians) pho were tasty. We also tried the crab noodle soup which was light & flavorful. The rice dish with grilled pork was easy to eat since the meat was pre-sliced and deboned. We finished off with mango & strawberry smoothies. If you like strong coffee, definitely order it either hot or cold. It’s like a dessert with condense milk.
