WOW, what a difference 4 years make! We did take-out, which I picked up on time. They had said on the phone it would take 10 minutes, and it did! The trip to the restaurant and then to back home was not worth the effort. Ordered the 8 potsticker dish. They were worse than terrible and we only ate a half potsticker each, with the same reaction, a grimace. Inside they were dry and lacking any flavor or sign of a filling other than bready. Fed it to our kitchen disposal. The pork egg fu young was dry and bready too, with no sign or taste of egg. It was topped with chopped veggies and a fair amount of strips of pork, which had little flavor and were tough. Into the sink with 2 of the 3 patties, we split one and were barely able to swallow it. The honey garlic looked beautiful, good sized portion but tasted somewhat dry but flavorful. My wife thought the taste was not good and ate only two bites. I ate probably eight or nine pieces and the flavor changed to overly sweet and dry chicken. I decided to keep the rest for a sandwich the next day. We both got sick during the night and in the morning the honey garlic chicken went into the trash container. I was afraid to try it again. I give the second star for the service and clean looking pick up counter. Sorry, China Way, you served me the worst chinese food I have ever endured.

Great place that has a drive thru and delivers. This is a solid choice with a variety of options. Family owned.

The restaurant was recommended by a friend and he was not wrong. Quality ingredients, very freshly served, reasonable prices. Serving is from a pickup counter so serious tipping is unnecessary.

I got 4 dishes including 2 different shrimp dishes which tasted almost exactly the same. Every dish was bad in taste, But the part that angered me most was that Shrimp with Lobster sauce looked and tasted like Shrimp with vegetables. Shrimp with Lobster sauce had a scrambled egg in there but other than that it was filled with shrimp and mushrooms - looked and tasted nothing like shrimp with lobster sauce. I've been to this restaurant several times in the past couple months and this was a huge departure in terms of quality like they just got a new cook.

I've been a regular customer of China Way for the last 15 years, I always ordered the same dish, but 10 years ago they changed the recipe for some reason to use half as much sauce and cook the noodles like a rare steak. So instead of beautiful golden-brown noodles with plenty of sauce for each bite, you would get a very unhappy sight, forcing me to order it with extra sauce and cooked "golden-brown" (since they refused to attempt a recook for any phrasing). And now the manager or whoever is claiming that she will not make it the same way for me ever again. When I tried to tell her of the origin of these modifications, she called me a liar because she never cooked them like that and she'd been here for less that 10 years. She even went on to say that I always send it back and that I like it afterwards "no matter what". When I confronted her about forcing people to say thank you and shut up when they know its wrong to avoid angering management further (which she clearly always is) and how she shouldn't be lying to her customers about what you do to the food when taking the food back, she closed the door on my face.

We have been getting take out and eating in at China Way for many years. The longevity of this place should tell enough but I thought I would give my two cents also. I believe the chicken is thighs so always moist. The Teri sauce is wonderful, not too sweet. Enjoy

I've been eating here for over 10 years and the food was some of the best Asian food in Chandler but over the years, the quality has plunged. The orange chicken is all batter and the spicy beef is much too salty and I like salt. Prices have pretty much stayed the same and the service is great. It makes me sad that the food has tanked.

I have kept going back hoping that it has gotten better. For years, we have loved China way. It's nearby and was affordable and delicious. I don't know exactly what has changed (managment/owner/cook) but it is not delicious or as affordable. They changed their portion sizes, prices, and the food just isn't the same. When I asked about it, they say nothing has changed. The same gentleman that served us for years has not been there for a long time now, so maybe that has something to do with it...

It's taken me 8 years to try China Way. Looking back I see it as lost time. What impressed me was the quantity of freshly cooked veggies and proteins served. i ordered take out Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, a dish I have come to love when I lived in NYC. Instead of making the sauce with egg whites, they used the whole egg which appeared like scrambled eggs in the sauce. I do not like scrambled eggs. The sauce was very tasty, the onions fresh and crunchy and a least a half pound of good sized shrimp sweet and fresh tasting, perfectly cooked! Bright green, crunchy broccoli was in the dish as well as some mushroom slices. The best dish was Mongolian Chicken with white and green onions, ordered extra spicy. I couldn't believe the quantity of sliced chicken breast and the great and not too spicy sauce. Truly a 5 star dish. All the above came with 4 very large scoops of white rice. Fresh crunchy fortune cookies ended the meal. Eighteen dollars and change for more food than my wife and I could actually eat. We plan to check out many of their menu options. How can you beat quality fresh ingredients in large quantities?
