This restaurant was recommended to my brother as a fabulous Korean restaurant. So....we went on a date on a Friday night to have some great Korean food...boy did this place deliver! We ordered the Spicy Tofu soup with Clams (my brother's favorite dish). We ordered it medium with an egg to poach in the broth. We ordered the short ribs,... More

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants that I have ever been to ever. I have dreams about their tofu kimchi soup and love their bulgogi as well. I've tried many different Korean places and this place is by far my favorite. The food and staff are amazing and it's just an overall great environment. My family celebrates... More

My husband and I were craving some spicy Korean soup and decided to check out Chodong. This place is amazing. The fried dumplings are home made. Perfectly bite sized fried dumplings that you could simply eat more than the 10 that comes in your order. We also order 2 kimiche soups, one hot and one super hot. Both packed with... More

I'm not an expert on Korean food by any means, but my family and I really enjoyed this place in Chandler. It's a pretty unassuming place from the outside, but the decor inside is nice--simple and tasteful. The menu has a great many options. We tried a wide variety and were happy with all of them. We really enjoyed the... More

We make the trek from Scottsdale for this gem of a restaurant. Everything is worthwhile especially the tofu soups and bulgogi. Highly recommend for something authentic and different.

We often have a difficult time finding authentic Korean eateries. It was great to find this place. From the decor, I could tell that it was owned by Koreans. We had some fried dumplings/mandu, dolsot bibimbap and beef soondubu. Good side dishes (the kimchee was on the salty side). It definitely made my Korean spouse happy. Would come back next... More

I always love coming here for the great authentic Korean cooking and hospitality. Service is always friendly and the food is always spot on. The homemade Kimchee is excellent and compliments the meals. It is the closest I felt to being back in Korea while in AZ...

The Phoenix metropolitan area has thousands of restaurants, but very few Korean restaurants. Since I have had Korean food on my mind recently, I have been searching for a great Korean restaurant. The other day, while in Scottsdale, I found a Korean restaurant and entered it at noon for lunch. There was one booth occupied and the single employee towards... More

This was a very pleasant lunch experience. The service was prompt and the waiter very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a spicy rice, vegetable and meat dish with an egg on top and enjoyed it very much. The stone pot it was served in was super hot and after stirring the ingredients, everything was cooked to perfection. The side dishes... More
