We were desperately in need of some healthy food after our recent vacation, and Pitta Souvli was just the ticket! I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean food in general, and this might just be my new favorite place! For starters, their pitas are the perfect...balance of fluffy and chewy, and they have a fantastic assortment of dips. Our favorite was the fig hummus, which was unlike any hummus I've ever had! I loved the little morsels of sweetness that the figs add to the dip. I thought the baba ganoush needed a little more smokiness. Their pitta sandwiches are HUGE and overflowing, and such a steal for 2 for $10 on Tuesdays. We split the chicken shawarma and the gyro sandwiches, and both were absolutely delicious. Their gyro meat is super flavorful and tender, without being overly salted or the least bit dry. The nutty chicken salad was easily the biggest salad I've ever seen. We loved all the fresh veggies, and the addition of the couscous and candied walnuts. It wasn't overdressed either, and the grilled chicken was perfect. As an admitted cheese addict, I also love that they are generous with the feta here. We were unfortunate too stuffed to even look at dessert, but I saw on their specials board that they have Lisa's Rum Cake so we'll have to make a return visit soon. All the staff here were so friendly and really seem to care about their food, and their patio is adorable. We're so happy to have Pitta Souvli in our neighborhood!More

Came on a Tuesday evening and opted for the special. Great deal! preferred the Gyro to the chicken. Salad was a good portion but missing Greek olives. Staff were friendly. Will return to try some of the other specials. Thanks for an enjoyable dinner.

We had hummus as an appetizer and it was served with pita slices. It was delicious! It was my favorite part of the meal. For our main course we both had the Gyro Platter. It was enough food we could have shared it, but since...we both got one we had the leftovers boxed for another meal at home. The platter comes with gyro meat, seasoned potatoes, a Greek salad, and small slices of pita bread. The food was good, but I expected the gyro meat to come in shaved slices (like used on a gyro) but instead it was in large chunks that didn’t have any of the crispy edges that are my favorite part of gyro meat. The patio was a lovely setting for lunch and that alone is worth returning. There is additional seating inside, but with beautiful weather the patio is the place to be.More

Tried the Lamb Souvlaki Platter and was really nice. Also tried the Pourekia for dessert, that was very new to me and I liked it

Excellent food with good price. One of the few restaurants where you can enjoy Greek food. I would recommend it highly.

When you walk in the door, you know you’ve found a great restaurant! We were looking for a new restaurant to go to before a show, and so happy our research led us here. The husband and wife owners wee both present and ensuring everyone...is enjoying their time. Many guests came in to pick up food to go. When we left, there were perhaps a dozen people waiting to be sat.More

The BEST Mediterranean Restaurant I’ve eaten at. The place exudes warmth and care for the customers and you can immediately sense the family atmosphere between the owners and employees. The food was remarkable and we left absolutely stuffed! Ya gotta eat here...often!!!

This is a great, small Greek restaurant. I have found it difficult to get tender lamb in Arizona. They advertise that it is New Zealand lamb, which is very tender. I found that their lamb was as tender as when I had it in New...Zealand. I was very impressed and completely recommend the lamb. The others at my table had wonderful dishes as well. I don't think you will be disappointed.More
