Was looking for a nice Chinese restaurant with good food for my family and. Read some of the reviews and decided to try this restaurant. I’m glad we did. The food and service were spot on. Great job, I highly recommend it.

Looking for a good Chinese Restaurant to go to in this area and found it! We happened by this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good and tasty. Reasonably priced, we will be back...again.More
We have been eating at Chou's kitchen for several years. They always have fresh foods to serve. The restaurant is small, and is smaller yet for their take out only service. No matter whether it is eat out or in (when you can) we highly...recommend everything on their menu. Of course some "crispy" items may not be so crispy by the time you get your meal to where you want to eat it.More
excellent service. this place is well like by the local asian community. every table was full at 2p on a sunday. so many interesting selections - we enjoyed pork and cabbage boiled dumplings and beef with green onion. will definitely return to try more
Love this place. It is not your average Chinese restaurant. They have really interesting food. I love their pig ears in garlic sauce. They have a plum drink that is so tasty and healthy. Everything is good here. Do not expect the average Chinese dishes.
We have been to Chou's more times than we can count LOL It never disappoints :) The soup dumplings are excellent! We also love the house made noodles, that eggplant with minced pork...who am I kidding...nothing is bad :)
Came here from a friends recommendation on their amazing dumplings, in particular their soup dumplings or juicy pork dumplings as they call them. Their food overall was all very good but their dumplings, wow, definitely will have me coming back for more no problem. The...kids even loved them.More
I casually mentioned to a guy on a first date that I loved Chinese food. He immediately said that he would have to take me to Chou’s Kitchen sometime. A week later, we pulled into the parking lot, and I took in this little hole...in the wall restaurant. I had high expectations after hearing him rave about their food. We were seated quickly, despite it being very crowded that night. Everything we ordered was delicious! If I lived closer, I would have been back several times already. Can’t wait for my next visit! For the record, he did good with his recommendation, and we are still together. :)More
The handmade dumplings are authentic and delicious. I don't think there is a place in Chandler at this level of non-americanized chinese food. True northern chinese style and you can tell that everything is freshly made. We will be back to try more dumplings!
This little hole in the wall restaurant is highly awarded and reviewed…and for good reason. Food is from Northern, specifically Northeastern China so has a lot of spicy items on the menu. Still, there are a lot of items to please all palettes. The menu...is in both Chinese and English. We experienced no communication issues. We ordered the Shanghai soup dumplings, cold spicy beef appetizer and stir fried vegetable noodles. Everything was well done and absolutely delicious. Service was attentive and quick. Can hardly wait to get back here again. Many of the dumplings are served in orders of six or more, so it may be more advantageous to go with a group of people so that you can try a greater variety of items. Also, the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. I do not believe the restaurant is licensed.More
I told a Chinese friend I liked authentic Chinese food that was not a national chain. He took me to Chou's. It is a nice version of a hole in the wall restaurant, and the food was excellent. We ate family style with eight people...and I liked every dish I tried, especially the eggplant and the steamed dumplings. The prices were reasonable and the meal was awesome!More
Pretty simple, walked in at 8:30 pm for dinner. Says they are open until 9:00 pm. Waitress gave up a weird look and asked if we there for take out or dine in. We said "Dine in" Sorry but we close by 9:00 so only...take out. Why did you ask then? Sorry we close by 9:00 only takeout. So we took ourselves out and ate somewhere better. Never will go back there. Not for all the tea in China.More
Lovely little North-Eastern Chinese restaurant, here in the desert! Next to their telephone and the cash register is a glass-encased booth where they make their noodle products the old way by hand. I watched them make potstickers and dumpling, as they have for centuries, with...delicious care. You can tell when you bite into one that it was not store bought but made at the moment, with the perfect chew and juicy flavor. You must come here to eat these heavenly morsels. I ate their potstickers and the pork and shrimp dumplings. Best I have ever had anywhere, and I have savored these tasty morsels in Bangkok and HongKong and the Chinatowns of New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver! I had to remove one star for their rendition of Salt and Pepper Calamari, as they were tough and almost tasteless. I think you can eat any dish that has a noodle listing, all 14 of them, and the 14 listed noodle soups, and the 15 Hand Made Dumpling dishes on the menu, and not go wrong! I will be back to try them all.More
Her relatively new Tempe location continues to serve great Dongbei regional dishes. The Handmade Dumplings are unusual and delicious. Among our favoites are the Green Onion Pancakes and Shrimp,Pork and Chive Dumplings. The Spicy Fish Fillet is reliable. The vegetable offerings are tasty and unusual...including the Tree Ear Mushroom and Cabbage and there are several with potato not seen elsewhere. In addtion to pork, beef and chicken, Chou's also has lamb dishes and the Toothpick Lamb is exceptional. Chou's also serves intresting Clay Pot dishes. There are, of course, many ususal Cantonese dishes, but we prefer her take on the regional dishes not found elsewhere.More
We've been here a few times and really love the food. You know it's authentic when you can watch them making the dumplings by hand and most of the diners are not speaking English. Tiny place, no frills but the food is delicious. We love...the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, beef with noodles, and pan fried dumplings. You will not regret trying this place out.More
