YUM!! The Cochinita Pibil was AMAZING! As was their spicy salsa and homemade tortillas. Wish I lived nearby, I'd definitely be a regular!

What an exceptional place to eat. We’ve been there twice & would go more but it’s a bit of a drive from our home in Mesa. The owner Cesar is extremely nice & even kept the place open for an extra hour because we got...there late. I had the Mocajete (may be spelling that wrong) which was cooked to perfection and they even spiced it up for me. It was HOT! Anyway I highly recommend this place, not only for the food but the service was among the best we’ve ever had.More

I discovered this delightful little restaurant a few weeks ago and have been there at least four times. The atmosphere is family friendly. Much nicer than a fast food joint, more casual than a Mexican fine dining restaurant. My all-time favorite is the Chicken Molcajete....I had never experienced such a delightful dish, which is comprised of many vegetables, a broth unlike anything I had ever tasted, presented in a very hot Molcajete, with rice and beans on the side. Steak or shrimp or a combination of meats can be ordered. My second favorite meal is pollo asado, which was seasoned very well and accompanied by rice, beans, sour cream and their delicious guacamole.More

We visited Phoenix looking for good Mexican food. We asked our host and she took us to La Hacienda. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Our cocktails were well made and quickly served. The guacamole fresco was perfectly balanced. The chiles rellenos were delicious. All...the entrees were expertly prepared, but I want to rave about the pollo poblano. The sauce was amazing. Service was impeccable, swift and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is convivial but not too loud. In a city with many good Mexican restaurants, La Hacienda stands out for overall quality and value.More

Following up on a colorful ad, wife and I decided to check out another Chandler restaurant. Ih this case, it was La Hacienda, Family Mexican Restaurant. We decided to have the daily special of taco and tostada. I had beef; wife had chicken. Apparently the...special changes each day, but from all we saw one could hardly go wrong whichever day you chose to be there. The interior is colorful. The service is prompt, and the food is served hot on attractive square plates. For drinks we had non-alcoholic margaritas which come in many flavors. Wife chose mango; I chose raspberry. These were surprisingly good and something not experienced in other Mexican restaurants. All in all it was a most pleasant luncheon experience. Since the $7.95 lunch specials are offered seven days a week, there is an incentive to come often. Happy Hour with food and drink specials is from 3pm to 6pm daily.More

Four of us stopped here last Friday--it was the first time for my wife and me. The venue was quite pleasant--- not the over the top Mexican motif, instead a subtle, quality motif. They make their own Sangria and it was outstanding. My wife had...a Margarita and it, also, was very good. I ordered the Deluxe Beef Burrito and it was different and excellent. It was not the typical 2" around burrito, it was a thinner, longer one with the rice and beans inside, covered with the lettuce salad, all that covered with their burrito sauce and topped with sour cream and guacamole. It was sooo good---and I love Burritos. The salad was so good with the sauce that I ate all that first and then the burrito; the sauce made everything better. My wife had a chicken Chimichanga and our friends had Fajitas and Chile Verde---everyone loved the food and the service. The overall experience; food, drinks, service, ambiance, etc, made for a wonderful evening. This is a go to spot for Mexican dining.More

Stopped by here the other day for lunch, only about half full, but the waitress told me they were running slow due to the crowd, well I guess I just missed it! I ordered the Guacamole Fresco from the appetizer menu and the Fajita Burrito...from the lunch menu. Let me say that the total menu is very large with many items to choose from and the lunch specialties takes up the entire back page. Both the guac and the burrito arrived at the same time and between the two, the guac was the best. Very large serving and it was excellent, one of the best I have had in the east valley, and I have had many!!! Burrito was very good and covered with an enchilada type red sauce, unexpected, but from the pictures on the menu, there are a lot of items that get this as a covering.More

Having never been to the place, I wasn't sure what to expect. Small place that had a wide menu with pages of options. I chose the chipotle chicken and enjoyed it. The sauce on it was just right, not to much kick. I'd recommend it....The person I went with had hard shell chicken tacos. The chicken was to moist that the shell just collapsed and it turned it a mess. I recommend the place, my guest says it's a place she wouldn't recommend.More
